      @@fouriertransform3512 this is why, generally, everyone is advised to "stay the f... away" from everything higher than consumer electronics voltages/currents (e.g. Arduino operating voltages/currents) before they *have* a degree in electrical engineering or a similar degree. My professor's advice right there.

      @@mernok2001 you may have neither if you live in the United States in terms of the boiler or the electric shower.
      Although I've heard about electric showers that were is plugged into the 224 like off-grid or alternatives for locally heating water or a small electric under the cabinet water heater sometimes used in isolated places or like see you have a bathroom in a building where there is only a sink but no hot water line available but there is cold water and drain.
      And maybe a toilet.
      Once I saw one installed in a Janitor's Closet or something like that just behind the wall that had the water fountain.
      Because they'd asked me if there's any way to get hot water 4 IU what a color wash up sink for their handguns for some purpose I don't remember where or what it was for.
      I told him that would muscle under the sink Stephan bonnar tankless heaters. That would hook up to the hot tap from the cold water line.

    Could you show us your three-phase setup? Did you just take a 3-phase plug and took, say, the L1 and L2 wires, or is there something else (placed by you) involved for safety?

      Safety? Ummmm, you are on the wrong channel LOL
      However, there is nothing unsafe about holding the 400V wires or "working live". Except if you touch the conductors, of course :-)

      @@ornessarhithfaeron3576 - yes, all those things are a problem for safety. However in this TH-cam channel, he doesn't really worry about safety very much. Also remeber that these 400V wires are only for this experiment.
      I think he just connected his 2 x 400V test wires onto the terminals on the main 3-phase circuit breaker. Did you notice that when there was too much current (due to the salt) that the room lighting also switched off? That is what makes me think that he was tripping the main 3-phase circuit breaker that protects his whole house.

      No problem if you have a 32 amp breaker. That's the highest value used in Europe to power up normal houses (industry can get hundreds of amps). So for a short time, you can draw 40 amps no problem. At 400V of course. It's no kidding, welcome in Europe :D

    Sounds abut right.
    In the case of resistive (Ohmic, or linear) loads, Joule's law can be combined with Ohm's law (V = I·R) to produce alternative expressions for the amount of power that is dissipated:
    P=IV = I^2R =V^2/R
    In other words the relationship between power and Current or Voltage is a squared law, so doubling the voltage has a dramatic effect on the current, for a fixed resistance, and also that decreasing the resistance dramatically increases the current... so Boom!!!! You popped it!
    This is also part of the reason that standing on a hilltop in a thunderstorm wearing wet copper armour and shouting 'All gods are b4st4rd5!' is rarely a good idea.

    I like those water heaters, my mother used to have one to make coffe, but it's very worn now...

    get a bucket and the "3kw" unit. Push the 32a braker with inductiv 32a and see your installlation with infraredcamera
