I’ve got CQuartz UK 3.0 topped with Gliss 2.0. I maintain my ceramic coating very well, but I’ve wondered about long-term maintenance, especially since this is my first full-blown coating. This is something I’ll have to try at some point. Your experience and sharing your knowledge has been very helpful for me with detailing and maintaining my cars.
glad this video might help, something went wrong when I did the UK3.0 on the Shelby and it might have been the moisture in the air or a bad bottle of coating off Amazon who knows. The Essence Plus makes the paint shine and feel as if you just applied a ceramic coating which is kinda cool. No idea how long this product lasts but it seems to be a safe product for application as much as you like since it is no abrasive
Just used that last night on my 350. Absolutely amazing gloss. Paired it up with the gloss pad too. Great clarification on how to use essence and essence plus.
Great to hear! Lets' all see how long this product might last I am thinking 6+ months which is not bad or longer but its so easy to do the entire car I do not mind doing this twice a year. Does your GT350 has a ceramic coating or you applied this to bare paint?
After doing this process and video I hired a new team to create a far better product/ we are in the final stages of releasing a new Auto Fanatic product called Money Maker that blows this away and actually will correct defects in coatings not gloss over them. Coming soon stay tuned and follow my IG feed as I have been posting demos lately. Just fixed a few defects in the Shelby hood that the Essence Plus did nothing for.
Hi, does essence plus remove holograms in car dont ceramic coated? My car's paint is very soft, and it leaves marks when using polishes with cutting power.
Great video as always Phil. My detailer (now friend) applied OPT’s original formula ceramic coating to my white Ford Raptor in 2017. He recommends a “decontamination” wash every season using CarPro’s Reset soap. Like all of us I wash/maintain my truck properly, and I use CarPro Reset about once a month. The coating still looks and performs without fail! As a side note: he applies ceramic coatings in a temperature controlled garage because of humidity like you mentioned in the video.
Thanks for sharing yes the humid conditions for sure made the coating on the Shelby sub par since install but the Essence Plus for sure restored the look, feel and properties we will see how long it will last now.
Great review. I found layering it does remove (fill) more scratches. Gloss pad is essential so not even minor cutting is applied. How long do you find it lasting ?
Only been on the paint about a week so far not sure how long it will last but we shall see. the finish feels great still and bird poop wipes off very easily.
I was led to believe this stuff is good to use under a ceramic coating? I have a brand new car to coat, which is absolutely swirl and blemish free. Is it good to lay a coat of this first? Also, what do you think about the flash times in real life? Does it really need that long?
I find that Collinite doesn’t last more than 2 or 3 months. Wonder if essence plus will be a better sealant than powerlock. Cos powerlock really doesn’t last at all
Would u reccomend this as a stand alone product??? Was thinking about doing this with my cherry wax that has 30%sio2 in it if I did should I do this first or after???
Thanks for posting this have been wondering about the Essence+. Went a little over board on my new car. Ended up polishing with regular Essence then 2 coats of CQuartz UK 3.0 and final coat of CQuartz SiC. Was wondering the best way of "revitalizing" the coating next spring if necessary and now I know.
@@autofanaticcars Yea the Essence worked great. I went conservative and used Griot's orange pads with the Griot's G8, G9 and SPTA 1 inch polishers. Would say I got the paint about 95% where I wanted. In hindsight I think if I was doing it again would probably use the Griot's white pads to give a little more cut. All in all very satisfied. The gloss after just the Essence was pretty impressive. I would think u could actually use Essence by itself since CarPro actually says you can get about a year from just it. So if u did Essence as the base and hit it with Essence+ every 4-6 months it would probably be workable.
@@autofanaticcars I like using Essence with Rupes yellow foam pads. The amount of correction depends on how hard the paint is, one some cars it’s all that’s needed, on others I need something more aggressive first.
I would say yes because I use a round attachment on my blower (dewalt flex volt with a 60v max battery) and it doesn’t cover that large if an area with a single pass. I’m also ceramic coated
How was the longevity of this essence+ after 7 months? My uk 3.0 and gliss topper is about to reach its 1 year mark and I'm looking for a product to bring back the original day 1 application results.
not impressive at all which is why i came out with our own product that actually corrects ceramic coatings not fills them in called Money Maker 3 in 1 it blows this away but we are out of stock currently,.
that im not sure but i wouldn't use this in a non coated car kinda worthless your better off doing a proper polish correction and use something simple like Gyeon Can Coat or Q2 Wax
absolutely the key to this product is the compatibility with Si02 toppers and coatings I wish CarPro would be more creative in their marketing of the Essence Plus because it can be confusing to know if this is the right product for application.
@@tundrawhisperer4821 I have used Car Pro Lite and UK 3.0 on several cars now. I also have used LS 10 on a few cars. In my opinion the LS 10 is no where near as good as the Car Pro products. I use the Car Pro re load every few months after a wash with their reset shampoo and that combo really works well to keep the coatings up. Have seen 1 year plus on both coatings on garage kept cars with Car Pro ceramics.

hola se puede utilizar el carpro essence normal, para después de un cerámico o solo el plus es para después de un cerámico ? gracias

My car's paint is very soft, and it leaves marks when using polishes with cutting power.

So so it’s better to use carpro essens to remove some swirl on a ceramic coat

Essence is what you would want to use under a ceramic coating. Essence+ is for refreshing a coating after it’s been a while and goes on top.
Is there any issue with this getting on the textured plastics?
That’s more like a sealant. I wonder if it’s better than Powerlock and collinite. That’s my killer combo once a year.
I find that Collinite doesn’t last more than 2 or 3 months. Wonder if essence plus will be a better sealant than powerlock. Cos powerlock really doesn’t last at all
Is there any measurable advantage to applying Essence Plus by machine vs. By hand?
Speed and it will remove light swirls. You cannot get swirls out by hand.

lots of guys use this as a stand alone or over a ceramic coating i think its versatile to use it as a sealant etc.
