Those are real warrior. Even with a broken jaw, broken nose, cut on the face, they will continue to play. They are real professional compare to Soccer and Basketball players. In these 2 sports, they will cry for nothing, 90% embellishment and will stop playing for a minor case. Hockey players after an injury: Ok doc, im ready to return on the ice for my team! Soccer/Basketball players: Im not paid enough to continue playing when my toe hurts, better leave. Even some Hockey players will try to convince that they can still play after a concussion and even a heart attack ...

However, I play soccer and I’ve broken a couple if bones while playing soccer, but I kept playing with my broken bone till halftime and then I even tried to play the 2nd half but my coach didn’t let me. Not all soccer players are like that. Also, it is mostly the guy soccer players who do that.

I once split my ear open by falling flat on it and got more freaked out about the amount of blood itself than the injury. These players take their injuries like champs in the moment. Adrenaline probably plays a part, but still, I would probably faint if I was a pro hockey player in that situation (I have only played recreationally, but have had some bad head hits)
