      Agreed. People forget that hockey is nothing like soccer. When people flop in the NHL it's because they're in real pain not just fishing, pun intended, for a penalty

    Mark schieffles one was scary the look on his face when he was falling and he was grabbing his leg and was rolling around poor guy was in a lot of pain

      They were battling. It's pretty common in hockey. Laughton swung back and lost his balance

      Evan Poole battling is common but carlson forcefully pushed him into the boards. it’s one thing to fight for possession and it’s one to purposely eliminate your opponent

    If you look closely at the Scheiffle injury, you can see Tkachuks skate blade digs into the side of his ankle/leg

      SportsHub Tkachuk literally said sorry as scheifele was brought off the ice and then he apologized to the media and it was wheeler who challenged Tkachuk to a fight. You have no idea what you’re even talking about

    Its amazing how much hockey has changed...
    So many hits that are currently considered dirty, or a 10 minute, to a game misconduct...
    Though, only have to go back like 5, maybe 10 years max, and it would have been not just acceptable, but celebrated as being merely the natural consequence for not keepin' your head up!
    You'd be in shit for NOT dealing the life lesson out!
    "You took a doozy, but it was a good, clean hit! You only got your bell rung, gotta keep your head up next time, kid!"

      Agree, though in my opinion really only rules regarding head contact have changed because of how much more we know now about the potential damage concussions can cause. “Getting your bell rung” was always a serious injury, although we just know it now

      Nour Yassin I’m a jets fan and I hate that play because Scheifele is my favorite player. But Tkachuk tried doing a punchstop, if you watch closely Scheifele does the same thing but Tkachuk skate stutters. Could’ve been easily avoided if Tkachuk didn’t hesitate to make the hit or not.
