bro this is fucking witchcraft!!!!! I didn't know that walking without knee pain was even possible! thank you so much for this video, this is gonna improve my life so much!!!!!
can you use this to reduce the risk of a dislocated knee? My friends knee often gets dislocated and I need to know how to tape their knee before we will sit on a bus for 32hours this summer
@Jack-c2d8w idk about her friend, but mine is because an old accident where i torn my ligament and slightly deformed the patela bones, so it doesn't sit firmly like how it supposed to and tend to slip. It's been more than 2 decades after the accident and i still can have my moment of knee dislocation, strained, or old pain with various degree. This tape kinda help not to fully eliminate the risk of my knee moving, but does help me to mitigate and reduce the "wrong" movement, so does the risk of slipping. and when my pain is coming, this tape also help reduce the pain and limit my muscle so it can recover faster. You know the rubber bandage or band especially for knee? The one that have hole on the patela position? That's fixate my knee better than rock tape, but i hate the constraint, hot and sweaty feeling especially on the back of my knee (this band fully cover the area), so rock tape is a nice go-to for daily or light use. But if you're going for heavier movement or exercise, the fully covered support band is better.
@@ThePhysioChannel Hi🙂It did help for about 10 hours. I don’t know if I gave it enough stretch or I’m not close enough to the patella with the tape that goes around the sides. I’ll retape it when these get loose and go more stretch.
Serious question: Would you recommend shaving the leg where the tape will adhere to? I seem to remember this not sticking too well to my hairy legs last time I used this a decade ago
Will this also aid in healing affected areas? Or is this just like wearing a back brace where it is only like a Band-Aid? I know that you are not diagnosing me. Just curious
Not directly but if it helps get you moving again and loading through the knee then it will be a very positive addition to your recovery. All the best from the team.
I have runners knee(patellofemoral pain syndrome/unstable knee cap) and left knee started hurting/cracking. The pain/irritation is quite mild would this help for raceday?

@@ThePhysioChannel I'm in the process of healing my runner's knee, I will most probably run with the tape for some time after healing. Thank you for this!
