- 061923 - Checked up on Marc and his Shovelhead only to find out that he seemed to be having some brakelight problems. It's a super easy fix, but he just walks us through the trials and tribulations of building, owning and riding his backyard boogie Shovelhead. Albert shows up to debut his wide glide front end on his CB750. We scoot over to Walmart for a tail light bulb and end up running into our friends Gabe and Adrian. We head back to Marc's to attempt to save Albert's headlight wiring job!

Torquing shovelhead heads: Find a wrench that you can use to get to all of them. Tighten all down in stages. When it's tight, go back around and really, really tighten them all. Put all you have into it. Some people would hit the wrench with a hammer to get it just a bit more. And the best wrench to use is a Snapon "Chevrolet door wrench." Have phun with it.

Lowbrow sells some torque wrench adapter for shovelheads. Pretty neat little tools.

Grounds are always overlooked. Proper grounds and hots stop electrical issues.
I almost died when I didn't see the kickstand come out.
Keep the ignition off until you have3 prime kicks. Get the motor up on compression, turn the ignition on, and KICK IT! Your ignition timing is off BTW. And your plugs are fouled.

don't get an LED, just weld that plate the bulb is on, too the box inside just a lil spot weld for a good ground contact A. and B. it won't rattle and pop bulbs. i have the same tail light. thats what i did and haven't had a problem since. been 10 years

yea no prob my light is a no school choppers light but same same, also those honda coils suck my old honda had the shortest wire coming out i always had problems getting a good contact. don't make me ride down there to have a 101 chopper tips n tricks course with you guys haha always keep learning @@Unaffiliated

I think the mark needs to go out there and see that gentleman. Who was the old guy that you video that had the chopper? The red one you helped them put the back wheel The old hippie guy he had a shovel You might be able to help mark set that up. Where it's easy to kick and also Tork the heads down.

We lanesplit too but just not as fast, feathering the foot brake
