  • Dai Fuk Fu Kyun 大伏虎拳 “Big Subduing Tiger Fist” is usually learned after Siu Fuk Fu “Small Subduing Tiger Fist. Big Tiger usually takes twice the time and effort of Small Tiger to complete, not just because it’s much longer...Dai Fuk Fu introduces more internal training, along with more Choy Ga added to the Hung Ga side of Jow Ga, hence the “hung Tao choy Mei” (hung 1st followed by Choy).
    I wanted to share my young 14 year old student Cameron demonstrating this long form. I was very proud of Cam’s determination to finish this exhausting form without passing out 😅. Getting 14 yr olds today to finish anything is monumental lol.
    My Sifu Kong Yu Choi reminded me about “conservation of energy” when training this set. This version is unique to my lineage so other branches have slightly different versions.
