Another great video Paul. I've just bought a mk4 chopper in ultra violet .haven't had time to have a proper look at it yet with work and stuff. I had to open the box to make sure it wasn't full of bricks lol and yes I've cheated not a speck of rust in sight no work to do just sit back with a cuppa and admire. Nice to see you back I don't blame you for having a break with this horrible weather take care rgds lee.

Great video Paul bro ! Had a massive snow dump here so I'm back on shanks pony to the shop. The bikes look awesome ! The ultra violet doesn't look too bad.. I prefer the other colours as well but it lookd in great shape !! Nice one mate !
The good thing about choppers for me is that they were so common that the parts regularly come up, can built up quickly and sold off to someone who’ll appreciate them - rarer bikes you could be waiting years on getting things completed or bits and are pretty much unobtainable - you can get stuck not completing things
Hi mate thanks for the comment yes totally agree with you, allthough some of the bits ie gear shifters seats and handlebars are not cheap. I've come across some cheap parts just lately luckily lol 😂. New video out Friday and I'm hoping to crack on with the ultraviolet crossover soon, thanks for viewing cheers 🥂
@@paulmartin4971personally I think repro bits are ok, they can’t all be perfectly original unless it’s a highly original bike with first paint etc - keeping stuff in-proportion sometimes
@@alseeineye hi mate yes I forgot to mention earlier about chainguards for an original your looking at about £80 I've bought a mk4 one for £30 direct from Raleigh. Also I was going to put some mk4 handlebars on the ultraviolet £60 from Raleigh but unfortunately they've sold out I do try and use original parts but am not fussed about seeking alternatives, also got mk4 pedals going on the ultra violet short reflector so should look the part. Cheers 🍻
