Rareware broke almost every rule Nintendo set for them with this game, that's why it was so good.

@@gizaha well, in DK Country returns for the Wii, DK plays with a DS and when he's done playing, he clearly throws it away. We know the DS is hard to destroy but technically that's still destroying/damaging a console on a Nintendo game...
And he very clearly just throws the console away since there's also a sound played when he throws it.
Btw, on DK Country Tropical Freeze, he plays with a Switch (or with a 3DS on the Wii U version) and he puts it away instead of throwing it, so ig that's something.
There's also the fact that on Mario Kart DS and Double Dash, you can have battles on the consoles themselves, the GameCube and DS (there are battle maps that are the console itself) and... you can technically throw bombs at the console in Mario Kart. Going by that too, you're literally hitting the console.
So if Nintendo allows these, why would Conker breaking the "N" logo be breaking a rule?

The reason behind this could be that Chris Seavors "Conker" (Bad Fur Day) team was heavily in rivalry with the "Banjo" (Tooie) team at that time: End of 2000

I went to my friend's house one night and he told me he bought an N64 game without the label on the cartridge and he wanted to see what was on it. He waited until I was there so we could play it. We had no idea what it was until we turned on the N64.

Nintendo didn’t support the game at all therefore it went under the radar for a lot of ppl.
Conker used to be all innocent in Diddy Kong Racing and in his own adventure on the GameBoy. When Bad Fur Day came out, he’s been a bad muthaphucka ever since.

Well, the game did launch in 2001, the very same year the GameCube launched. Hell, this game pushed the N64 to its limits, just as DKC2 and 3 did for the SNES!

It was a friendly comedic jab at the friendly rival between Team Banjo and Team Conker at Rare, Banjo-Kazooie were doing so much better and outbeat Conker to the punch. This is why Conker went from a cutesy platformer that was planned, it was then retooled into this game.
I thought in Rare Replay that Conker was going to chainsaw the Microsoft logo instead

This game IP has a TON of potential, the ideas, innovation, and gags made this game very good but was poorly excuted when it came to marketing, and certain controls. This could be xbox's signature 3d platform deadpool cartoon character. They just need to have the balls to embrace it the type of game it is.

Caroline Bergin Nintendo had too many kid-friendly games, so Chris Seavor (the creator of Conker's Bad Fur Day) amped it up and made the game more towards adult audiences. The game was comedic gold up until the player got to the end of the game. It was like a punch to the stomach.

I remember I played this Rare game for the first time on Microsoft Xbox One as Rare Replay in August 2018 and I was 28 in that year. I finished it in September 2018. It's a good game and it's really funny as well but it's definitely NOT suitable for kids because it has lots of coarse language, violence and naughty bits.
Back in 2001, I hadn't realised why the British software company Rare decided to make an adult video game featuring Conker. I thought Conker was a family-friendly franchise you know.
Anyway in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, it was distributed by THQ, a defunct American software company.
