  • We cannot believe that we spent four days in the Lofoten Islands! Now before we address anything else, first thing (our pronunciation sucks so don't hate us) 😂🤦🏻‍♀️
Now that is out of the way, lets talk about this WONDERFUL part of the world.
Norway wowed us no matter where we went, but the Lofoten Islands were a whole different beast. From the huge mountains, to the snowy beaches; we were in awe of everything this section of norway had to offer.
As you saw, we went on a awesome hike up to Ryten, and we couldn't have done it without our lovely hosts (and new friends) Rob and Annie.
If you are interested in visiting here, we STRONGLY recommend their guide service. There are just some things you cannot do without a locals knowledge. For us the biggest thing was the hike, but there are many different things Rob shows you!
If interested their Instagram accounts are:

This is beautiful, this definitely encouraged me to do the Ryten Hike on my visit coming this dec.
Where did you guys stay your night? Curious to know what would be the best places to stay which has access to most of the places you visited?

Just came across your video and the hike in snow part and I applaud you for that as it is difficult to "plow" through snow and dealing with stepping where you have no idea if it is fluff or hard crust that can throw you off balance and send you sliding down the side of bit. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you! This hike is still the toughest one we’ve done. Definitely hoping to challenge ourselves this year!

Great video, guys :) Almost 1000 subs! Keep making videos like this and you will get there and beyond in no time :) Looks like you had a busy summer in Europe! Impressive! You should come back to Lofoten in the summer. You would love it there. And, I want to see more videos from Lofoten ;)

Thanks for sharing your video about Lofoten. Which company did you hire the car from? And which town and accommodation did you stay? Thank you.

We used Sixt rental car at the Evenes airport, and stayed in Leknes while exploring Lofoten.

great videos guys, i really enjoy it. I am planning to go there this April 2023. But i am wondering with the Norway drone law. Do they really enforced it? kinda dissapointed as without drone footage i will be missing a lot of the views. Any suggestions/advice?

Thanks so much! We were here in early 2022 and had no issues with drones as long as we weren’t in main tourist spots!

@@TheAdventuringArtists Did you get stuck in snow at any point? and did you need a block-heater for the car?

Which date did you leave Norway? Knowing that Norway already was a very expensive choice from a tourist point of view, It might have been an unfortunate timing at this exact period since petrol and diesel prices recently increased by 35% because of the war. But seems like it was worth it anyway :)

    • @TheAdventuringArtists

We actually left Norway February 21st! Yes the gas was already expensive but it had not risen much yet.
