The adjustability with this design is phenomenal, more so due to the efficient use of materials that is better for the environment. He essentially made a multitude of clamps with the ability of interchangeability of the “brace” part he named. Nice job.
Ingenious! I love the idea that these simply augment F-clamps most of us already have around the shop avoiding the need for dedicated long reach clamps. Awesome job!

Your solution is simply elegant. That clamp is a work of art. I don't know what fire rages in your mind to be so creative but I say rage on and let the fires be bright.
I don't know what it is about these videos, but something about listening to the sounds of the cars whizzing by and nature happening in the background while you have it set on fast forward is really soothing. I have no idea why; probably some latent memory from my childhood. heh

I really like the way you solved how the foot on the threaded rod turns on the rod. So many "makers" have not figured that out. I guess there is another use for patroleum jelly.
Boy, I just don't get how anyone other than idiotic hater types would give this video a thumbs down. Why are they even watching and if if they did have a comment why couldn't they be constructive. This is such a practical device, of simple but clever design and straight forward construction. I am in the middle of a project where this clamp will solve a thorny assembly problem and after I finish my remarks am headed to the shop to construct a couple!! I really want to apologise to you for those idiots that have to sh*t on your video. I hope that you will continue un-phased. I have either adapted or outright copied a bunch of your tooling for my own shop and projects, the adjustable vise for one which I have always wanted but couldn't afford the commercial unit. Thanks so much brother for sharing you work.
love your clamps! one thing i might add is the thickness of what one can clamp can be changed just by making different lengths of the back board. of course the bar clamp too.

Nice idea. I built some Loonnnggg clamps when I was replacing the boat transom on my boat refurbishing project, but they are really too long for general woodworking clamping . So maybe I need to make your design for such short clamping need needs. Thumbs Up!

One more reason to grind away the end of clamp pin so they can be inserted and removed easier, I will probably batch out a few with two spacing arms for each so I can switch for thicker projects Try to set clamp thickness for under 2" and around 5"

Was thinking ( very dangerous usually ) if a length of studding with a couple of sticky nuts for spacing could replace the fulcrum spacer in part, this could be made to match the range of the clamp.

I'm so glad you talked about tap threading the wooden part of the hole after the nut gets glued in. Order of operations is important!

Good touch using the ‘F’ clamp. Guarantees more than enough pressure with minimal stress on the joints. Regards

Thats a really clever design
One of my favorite parts is the application on linseed oil!
It's gonna be very useful for holding down panel or table top during glue up. Definitely I will make some, thank you for sharing the video. :)

You can straighten the wood threads by covering the rod in a release agent and filling the threads with a thin varnish like nail varnish.
I've seen a number of long reach clamp builds, but I like this one the best. Great design.

Cool clamp! Unique in its uses, but I could see it coming in handy for sure.
Great video when you use epoxy heat it up first with a heat gun makes it more runny and able to get in to all the nooks and crannies:)
