ordered a 23 hrv exl white. should arrive in 3 weeks! i'm still in college and only use my car to commute and rarely get on the highway but i live in indiana so i really need that awd in the winter because my accord isn't the best in the snow and ice. i test drove the 22 and did not like it but later test drove the 23 and it is definitely better. the interior is super nice and the technology sold me!

I think you can get those in the touring trim

Great details review. I was intending to get a 2022 Honda Civic Sport Hatchback in Boost Blue Pearl, but this new HR-V Sport in Urban Grey Pearl FWD suits me much better. But, I wish they offered it in Boost Blue Pearl and/or Aegean Blue Metallic.
And contrary to the Civic, I am so glad that they did not put the auto start/stop feature on the HR-V.
IMHO, the Sport is the best looking, best handling, and best equipped trim model for the price, despite all the bells and whistles on the EX-L.
The Sport trim should come standard with all the exterior black emblems, instead of an optional OEM accessory.
There's add on OEM appearance and protection options, but they look horrible and detract from the beautiful styling. I didn't like the HR-V version for the other markets, especially being a hybrid. Some others like ut, and hate this one, but looks are subjective.
Like the Civic Sport, the N/A 2.0L engine may not be the fastest, but it has tried and true reliability, dependability, durability and longevity. There are problems arising again eith the 1.5L turbo engine in the Civics. Honda knew what they were doing by putting this engine in the HR-V.
I believe the acceleration numbers you posted are for the FWD, with the AWD version being about a second or more slower in the 0-60 mph or ¼ mile acceleration.
Only the EX-L has 8 Speakers, which is no biggie if it sounds decent. I I tend to upgrade the speakers and amplifiers with high quality aftermarket ones from Rockford Fosgate, or one of my other favorite brands, and could add a pair of tweeters to the rear doors like the EX-L, and install a 400 or 600 watt amplifier and maybe a power subwoofer.
The Sport cloth seats are said to be more comfortable than the leather seats in the EX-L. I wish it had a map pocket behind the left/driver's seat.
The rear seat center armrest/cupholder would have been nice, but would raise the price, like putting an A/C vent and USB power outlets in the rear of the center connsole, which seems to have provisions to accommodate those in the future.
The interior road noise on the Sport is probably from the larger tires of Sport models.
The ride and handling is very Civic like, but I believe the engineers intentionally calibrated the tuning more for the comfort bias for the projected preference of HR-V buyers over Civic ones, hence more body roll on turns, snd slightly lighter steering thsn the Civic
Overall, a great, more refined update to the previous HR-V. Also, the rear hatch windshield wiper does not bother me, though some others have commented about it.
It's also great that the HR-V has full LED lighting, including the capacitive touch rear interior ceiling lights, two rear hatch area lights, and outside mirror turn signal, and LED rear turn signal/brake and reverse lights that the Civic Sport does not have.

The Urban Grey looks great with all the blacked out trim on the HRV. Also, great listing of specs and features! Want to join me for a future review? Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching

@@TwoGuysandaRide The White or Grey HR-V Sport mayvlookvgreat with the aftermarket glossy black covers for the exterior door handles snd shark fin antenna to match the mirrors and rear hatch spoiler. I believe the Civic ones will fit, as the HR-V probably uses the Civic door handles and shark fin antenna. Also legal smoke window tint, black metal license plate frames, clear covers, and the black Honda logo tire valve caps and wheel lugs/locks.
I wonder if the snow mode will work in sand. There's also lots of aftermarket customization accessories that eould probably fit the HR-V, like the louder dual horns, the black Honda stick on logo for the steering wheel and under hood engine oil caps snd such. Also a clear screen protector for the infotainment display, probably for the 7" and 9" on the EX-L.
The OEM weather mats, cargo mat and cover and rear seat back protectors are a must, too.
Thank you for the offer, but I live in Honolulu, HI. 👋

What was the factory window tint percentage?

Not exactly sure, but since it’s a Minnesota vehicle the front windshield is not tinted and the rest of the windows have to let in more than 50% light. Thanks for watching!
