Its weird to say this but squishy is underrated on this team. Everything he does is for Garret and Justin. His 50/50 game is the modern version of Fireburner's and he is rock solid on challenges and mid game play which sets up Garrett and Justin so much
Everyone has its role in a team. NRG adapted and changed their gameplay to win. If that means Squishy needs to switch his gameplay to be supporter, he did that perfectly. All fine at the end. As always, everyone at NRG was brilliant once they found the key.

Being a G2 fan ages you like 2 years per series. They’re the biggest rollercoaster team of all time. So inconsistent. Sometimes they play top tier, sometimes they barely qualify for RLCS.

Wow! I love the way G2 were playing in the first set, so much selfless play with some fantastic shooting. I know some people aren’t a fan of a physical play style but imo it just gives players another way to exert presence on the pitch and it rewards situational awareness. Best esport!!
This series reminded me of c9 squishy. Not only did he play his passing and positioning role perfectly, but we got to see the old sharpshooting squishy too

When G2 can't bump to create open net situations their entire team just kinda falls apart. The bumps and demos are pretty much what determine their success.
G2 is like the prime Barcelona 09-12, technically amazing. NRG is like Bayern 18-21, very strong physically, it looks like they have two or three more players than the opponent. From Game 4 of the first series, G2 looked like Barcelona 18, weak physically and technically, while NRG kept their intense pace, this is why they crumpled.
You know Garrett carries NRG because when he has an off game, NRG lose. Whereas if only justn or squishy have a bad game, the outcome is still often a win.
It is so painful being a G2 fan. You get a solid showing in the first match or two and then nerves set in or they get figured out and you might as well turn off the video
