Brigitte Bardot's Favorite Beauty Products you can still buy today

- Hello lovelies, after doing extensive research, I discovered all of Brigitte Bardot's favorite perfumes you can still buy today. I had a hard time finding what skincare products she used, but I was able to look at some old photos of her dressing table and may have found a few products that she used. Based on the old photos I matched, a few possibilities include some vintage Avon face creams, including Avon Rich Moisture Cream, which is one of Avon's oldest skincare products. I also noticed an Avon Nutura Face cream and an Avon perfumed powder sachet. I think it is very likely that she used Avon because it was a very popular skincare brand in the 1950s and 1960s.

I also found all of the perfumes that she used, including Jicky, Fracas, Vent Vert, and Chanel No.5. Below is a list of all her perfumes and beauty products that she used.

I agree. Benefit cosmetics has ugly pressed paper packaging, so cheap looking. Other countries have prettier packaging as well. I wonder why in North America we get the ugly packaging.

Look for Asian brands! Cle de Peau, Anna Sui, LaDuree and Paul and Joe are Japanese brands that use beautiful packaging.

Brigitte Bardot was always fearless in her passion for animals and particularly a campaign to stop the barbaric clubbing of young baby seals . I believe she owned quite a few dogs herself and probably still does . 👌🏻
What I love about most of these natural beauties from the 50-60's is the slimplicity of their beauty. They aren't micro needling, having Botox, plumped lips, micro bladed eyebrows, contouring.
They had a few products which they used and minimal make up even with bright lip stick.
Look at most of the females these days and they are doing more of the former and looking older on the process.
I will say that I think French and Italian women do tend to favour the more natural look and good diet compared to the procedures named above.
They are all timeless such class

All those fragrances have now been reformulated & do not smell anything like the original perfume. I am always on the look out for vintage perfumes that have not gone off.

@@SamtheMan0508 Yes so have I. My favourite perfume of all time is Dior's 'Dior Dior' & it is hardly ever seen & if it is it is so expensive. I eventually got some on Ebay & was so disappointed as the top note had completely gone. I long to smell this scent again.

Probably whatever her nazi lovers gave her to use... Its fine IMO to love Chanel products but its another thing entirely to glamorize such a nasty person. Madame Chanel was a vile creature that is no doubt burning in hell, if there is such a place. Sorry, I just cant with the glamorizing of Nazis. If you do the beauty products of Madame Chanel you might as well do Eva Braun as well... Hell Eva Peron is probably less problematic than Gabrielle Chanel.

Great idea for a video! (Don't know why I thought of this, but I remember that after my dad died and my mom started dating again, men would bring her gifts before the date. She got several bottles of perfume this way. I don't think gifts are as popular with dating now. My boyfriend got me Chanel #5 for our 'dating anniversary' one year. I nearly cried out of joy just remembering stealing spritzes from my mom's bottle when I was young never thinking that I would get my own bottle one day.)

The interview I saw with her was 40 years ago on a french TV channel and she said the line was named after her: Brigitte Bardot cosmetics. She was in her 40 thies at the time and absolutely stunning! I'm not sure the cosmetic line still exists or has been take over by some mayor brand.

Laura Jane, what you mentioned as an Avon product, one of them on her vanity looks like a compote container. It seems to have a pedestal bottom. I bought one similar at a thrift shop & I plan to use it for body powder.

Yes, I follow you on TH-cam! and yes my mother who is 80 used all that Avon and my aunt mom's sister did also Too! they had all that neat and dependable products on their vanity and in the boudoir and bathroom, I have the no. 5 Perfume because of its name. It's just sits there because I really can and prefer other fragrances And I love the Jergens cleansing cream! and I have to apply twice because of my heavy TV/Theatrical makeup yes twice! TV makeup is hard to remove.
