  • Today I am bringing you four incredibly delicious diabetic dessert recipes that are not only easy to make but also great for weight loss. Explore a variety of guilt-free treats that will satisfy your sweet tooth without compromising your health goals. These diabetic dessert recipes are perfect for the entire family! And yes, 3 of the 4 recipes are dump diabetic dessert recipes!!!

    These easy diabetic dessert recipes are the perfect dessert for the family. I share these healthy diabetic dessert recipes with my patients.
    As a dietitian, I work with individuals to balance blood sugar levels, maintain hormone balance, and
    achieve weight loss! We do this by following low net carb, high lean protein, high fiber, and omega-3 fats! Often, I am questioned by clients, ‘Can I still eat my favorite foods?’ and more diabetic slow cooker, diabetic slow cooker recipes, diabetic slow cooker meals often ‘What can a prediabetic eat?’ The most important question I am asked is on reversing prediabetes. You should be thrilled to learn that we can reverse prediabetes and we can reverse prediabetes naturally.
    As a dietitian, my clients are constantly asking for easy ways to make the best diabetic dessert recipes.

    Diabetic Blackberry Dumpling
    1 ½ lbs frozen berry mix
    1 tbsp 100% butter
    ½ cup water
    ⅓ cup Swerve
    1 cup Carbquik
    1 cup PLAIN Greek yogurt
    2 tbsp water
    Combine Carbquik and Greek yogurt in a bowl.
    Add 2 tbsp water.
    Combine and place to the side.
    Place a large saucepan on the stove top.
    Add berries, butter, water, and Swerve to the pan.
    Bring to a boil.
    Drop Carbquik mixture by tablespoonfuls.
    Cover, set heat to medium-low, cook 15-20 minutes.
    Serve.
    Low Carb Ice Cream Recipe:
    1 container of premier protein
    3 cups of frozen berries
    Blend in blender.
    Nutrition Facts (5 servings):
    74 calories
    8 net carbs
    6 grams of protein
    Keto Blueberry Dump Cake
    3 cups blueberries (frozen)
    1 pkg Keto and Co Vanilla Cake Mix
    ¼ cup (or ½ stick) Kerry Gold Butter
    Preheat the oven to 350.
    Spray a 9x 13 baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
    Layer blueberries, cake mix, and slice butter.
    Bake for 40-50 minutes.
    Remove from the oven and pour with heavy whipping cream.
    Serve!
    Nutrition Facts (Makes 12 servings)
    Calories: 88
    NET CARBS: 7.5 grams
    Low Carb Strawberry Shortcake Recipe:
    1 pkg of Keto and Co Yellow Cake Mix
    1 can Strawberry Zevia (can use ½ can of Zevia if you like a denser cake)
    1 8 ounce pkg strawberries, sliced
    1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
    Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
    Combine Keto and Co yellow cake mix and strawberry zevia in a medium size bowl.
    DO NOT USE A MIXER.
    Spray an 8 x 8 pan with non-stick cooking spray (I used Coconut Spray)
    Pour mixture into pan and bake in the oven for 45-55 minutes. (I cooked for 55 minutes)
    While the cake is baking, pour heavy whipping cream into a bowl.
    Whip with a hand mixer for 3-5 minutes.
    Refrigerate.
    Remove from the oven and cool.
    Layer strawberries on cake.
    Pour cool whipped topping on cake.
    Serve!
    NUTRITION FACTS: Servings: 9 Calories: 84 calories NET CARBS: 3 g (24 carbs - 11 grams fiber - 10 g sugar alcohol)

      I made one with raspberries. It was delicious! Hubby liked it so much the next one I made was with blueberries & half a banana. Let's just say he liked it enough that I WON'T be buying him ice cream anymore.
      The leftovers I freeze. A win, win! Thanks Dr. Shelly!

    I’m still just enjoying Swerve on top of Greek yogurt bowl…..but may soon graduate on from that. Found out today that my fasting sugar is great…5.1. That is 2 months since I first heard of insulin resistance in me. I have lost 8 pounds and haven’t even tried to lose….other than stopping the sugar and high carbs. I will continue with the smarter foods. I picked up something in our garden that was too heavy during this time…..and pulled a deep glute muscle. Ugh. So…..now better…..can move around better…..to further cooperate with my self care plan. Always grateful for Shelly’s videos, recipes and insights! Truly. Eve other Docs say to not focus on weight loss….per se. Focus on health. 😄

    I LOVE how real you are! I just found out I’m pre diabetic and have been looking for sugar free snacks that are…well..REAL!! The fact that I’m from the south too makes it that much more real for me!! Thanks for all the wonderful recipes!! Oh and I LOVE THE WALMART TOO!!😂❤❤

    Freeze the better, then graded with a box grater over the dish so it will just sprinkle over everything freeze in the butter. That’s a chef way.

    First time watching your videos. From California. I'm 58, short and chunky. Looking to lower my a1c is currently 5.9. Dr tells me I'm pre diabetic. Want to lower it before my Dr appt in Dec. That's how I discovered your channel. At gym now watching as I walk. Will be trying your great recipes..

    I found your channel a short while ago and watched the 5 ingredient slow cooker recipe then Found this one and I’m very excited to watch the rest. I am diabetic and struggling to find tasty nutritious meals that do not impact sugar. I am from Texas and as you know we love our spicy foods so can’t wait to try your recipes. I lived in Florien and Lake Charles La at different times in my life and absolutely loved the food 😁Thank you so much and blessings 😊

    Oh and have you tried a mandolin for cutting the butter? I’ve never used mine for butter, but it sliced apples really thin for my apples chips. Might give that a try!❤❤

    You can try freezing butter and using a cheese grater. They usually have a side that's for slicing not grating. I appreciate you giving reviews on the baking mixes, I want to try them but they're so much more expensive, I hate to spend money and feel like I wasted it on something I don't like.

    I found that Duncan Hines has a cake mix that is keto and uses stevia at walmart

    You can just melt the butter and pour it over the cake mix. It comes out the same as the sliced butter. :)

    Hi Shelly. I have watched a few of your videos. You put out some really nice recipes that I want to try especially here because now it's summer. I have a question. I eat a banana (on the green side) sliced in the morning with my Cocoa Krispies cereal. I know that cereal is bad for you. I love the combination of chocolate flavor and banana. I'm looking to get away from this cereal because I want to lose belly fat and I don't want to get diabetes. Do you have any suggestions on chocolate flavored cereals that are good for you that don't taste like cardboard? Thanks for your recipes. Many thanks from your neighboring state Texas.

    The protein drink has a lot of Sodium that is extremely bad for high blood pressure. Please check and give a substitute . Thank you.

    New to your channel. Loving your recipes!
    For small pieces of butter, freeze your butter then grate it. (I learned this trick from @IndigoNili. She uses a Salad Shooter, but a hand grate works just as well. You just have to work fast. )
