Beautiful area, did the WHW last year and passed through that area. I love the lakes, but you rarely feel as isolated as parts of Scotland.

What a great adventure and I didn’t realise you had set yourself a challenge with finding remote places. The spot you camped was exactly where I had a rest on the Rob Roy way and not too far from where I camped that night.

Thanks mate - I decided there was more to the uk than doing another round of wainwrights! Some places are going to be more of a challenge than others but it’s been good fun in the planning. I’m either in the peak next week or snowdonia and if I can swing it past the mrs I’ll have both done by the end of May 😂I will do the RRW at some point. It’s on my list! 👍🏻
