Dropped my pixel 9 pro fold from a height of about 1m recently with a spigen case on and the inner screen cracked with 2 distinct lines. The outer screen was fine. I enjoyed using the phone but no more foldables for now. Bought the pixel 9 pro XL as replacement.
@@dtincworldnews8922 the phone is supposed to be fine if you dropped it on the ground. My iPhone is fine after dropping it many times. You aren’t supposed to be getting a glass cup. You spent 1,700 dollars for this.
Had the 9 Pro Fold for a few months, sold it now to replace it with the 9 Pro XL. It was a nice phone, the inner Display was phenomenal. Very handy in some situations to have such a big display. All the rest is a downgrade unfortunately. Lower screen resolution, lower camera quality, much lower screen on time, even with the inner screen mostly unused. Then there is the problem that this phone is so incredibly fragile. You can't just let it sit somewhere at home when you have children for example. Then, no matter how thick of a case you have, one small sandgrain inside when closing and the inner display is finished. And if you press a little too hard on the display, or with fingernails, it will leave marks that stay. I treated it like a raw egg and it looked almost new after 3-4 months, however to be so extremely careful was very exhausting. Also I ended up using the cover screen most of the time because the situation kind of did not allow me to use the inner screen. And at home I have my tablet. Now I have a huge, sharp outside screen, long lasting battery, top notch camera, and a durable phone.
Great review: a story showing the use of the phone, not just specs. And great kids. I'm still not that keen on foldable given the price and the reduced durability compared to a slab. I loved my LG v60 which allowed me to slot my slab phone into a second screen casing to use in laptop mode, tent mode, book mode or single slab, all for £600. And no issue with changing the angle between the screens. Also a 3.5mm headphone socket and quad DAC and aptx adaptive for awesome audio, and SD card slot. But sadly no LG v60 updates and that is one plus of the Google phones (and Samsung, Apple, Fairphone).
Always loved your content brother keep it up and great to see how much your channel has grown PS: Loved how you said Bismillah Im also a huge Porsche fan like you My dream attainable car would either be the Cayman GT4 or a BMW M3 Competition
Thank you so much bro. Really appreciate you watching and supporting. Alhumdulilah 🤝🏽. Oh man if those are you dream cars then pay close attention to the next few vids 👀.
*tip: when you want to view videos at a more upward angle, use the outer screen. It will keep the video in that screen with it open if you have the video full screen before opening it.
I just traded my pixel fold 9 pro back in after having it since day 1 of release. I owned every generation of Samsung fold including the 6. I was so upset when Samsung didn't make the inner screen and middle screen bigger on the 6. Come to find out the fold 6 is perfect. I like the small screen and the pixel was too heavy and bulky to me. Plus the black bars on the inner screen were larger with that aspect ratio. Overall the fold 6 is so much more premium and for me the size is just right. I just didn't know it until I tried something else.
Bro I totally agree with you on the premium feel and look. Samsung killed it. Also the inner screen on Samsung is the perfect size. The outside screen though I prefer much more on the pixel. But we can’t have both and have to pick our poison lol. Great choice though, either way both are solid options!
That’s why the OG pixel phone is better for that half hinge problem. They didn’t fix everything with the nine pro fold plus the fact it’s much bigger sadly.😢
If you've ever used a foldable you'll understand that it's not that convenient to keep opening the phone every time you want to use it. Many times you will want to just use it like a phablet phone. And in those cases, that front screen will make or break the experience. In this case, having a good sized front screen helps a lot in alleviating this. And you still have that inside screen when you want.
Great analysis, thank you! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
Yes, Gboard has many options for the inside keyboard. You can have it one handed mode where it will only show it on one side, separated like you have it or full screen like a computer keyboard
When testing Pixels, please cover how it handle the FRONT facing camera VIDEO in the LOW LIGHT scenarios. Pixel 9 series still does it terribly in 2024, miles worse than the main cameras shown in the video, which is totally unacceptable and Google must fix it. But if all reviewers say nothing, nothing will be changed.
the thing is with foldables, i dont really need to use the front facing camera much because i can use the outside screen and the back camera for selfies, which is what i did. I can definitely see your point though. Noted, will try to cover next time!
@TausifHussain thanks for the reply! There definitely is a use case of front facing camera video for example for quick video messages in Telegram/WA. Using the back camera is a great use case of foldables, but it's definitely for situations when you have more time to set everything up before shooting. The sad fact about Pixel is it's video noise is unforgivable for its flagship price. While it's still present in daylight even on the back camera, and it's not that awful, on the front camera in low light it's literally a nightmare. The flagship device sold for $1000+ simply can't have such an issue.
tbh that's not something that stood out to me, but i can understand where you're coming from! Looking forward to future updates. Thanks for watching mate!
bro said he has been using the fold phone the whole morning without using the fold function. And keep saying how the front screen is so good. Why not just get a pixel 9 pro then...
You don’t use the thumb use the Face ID bro all you do is touch the screen and it’s already unlocked and you’re in the home screen why waste your time with the stupid thumb thing I used it on the original fold. It works fine. The Face ID is better. Trust me. You’re already open and locked and whatever in the home screen with Face ID it opens right up.😅😅
I don't have a dream car (even attainable), as I don't drive (and living in the UK and potentially emigrating to EU, I don't need to). In terms of the phone, it's very interesting to understand the foldable experience. I do wish the Pixel lineup had a better desktop mode experience (think like DeX, I'd read it is possible to get an equivalent that isn't as good on the Pixel 8 Pro that I have, and it's available on Pixel 8 and 9 series, but I've had real trouble getting it working), but other than that I'm very happy with the Pixel phone, especially coming from a Galaxy S20 FE 5G (prior to that I hadn't had a Samsung phone for 15 years because the Tocco Lite was such a POS to me). I've found call screening on the Pixel to be especially amazing, and hope it comes to more countries in the EU (especially if I do emigrate there).

It's not the phone's fault you're irresponsible. Be careful next time.
Damn man, that’s rough. Hope you’re enjoying the pixel 9 pro XL! 🙏🏾
Now you brought the more superior pixel

You can't go wrong with either one honestly. I'm sure the SE fold is perfect
love this bro😌👌
Thanks my brother! 🫡
Does Land Rover Defender count as a dream car? Dream SUV?
I want to try one but I'm worried about the durability of the screens and hinges. So I just ended up grabbing the Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Seems like the problem with the hinge isn't the hinge at all... It's a weight/balance issue. 🤔
I want to swap back to the Pixel Fold so much right now! 😬
bro it's such a goated phone lol.
How does this guy only have 100k followers with such a quality wth
Good Video, new subscriber here ! And i'm going to buy this buddy
That’s why the OG pixel phone is better for that half hinge problem. They didn’t fix everything with the nine pro fold plus the fact it’s much bigger sadly.😢
My dream car is the 718 cayman GT4 manual transmission
Dream car. Fully paid off cybertruck. Lol
You’re a real one! Thanks for watching all the way through 🫡. Cybertruck is so cool. I had one for a week and it was crazy haha.

You can open it, when you choose to. And it doesn't have to be all the time.
Great review.watching on my pixel 9 pro fold

Easy, Lexus LC500 Coupe
Edit: i personally disagree on the Gemini thing, its missing a TON of features that i regularly use, at least on my S24 Ultra
Mind sharing the wallpaper?
Which one? There’s a few that are part of the pack I sell on my website.
@TausifHussain the one you're using on your Pixel Fold in this video
Great analysis, thank you! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
bruh.
Just put the phone in tent mode. Inside keyboard doesn't need to be separated.
ooo let me see what this is.
Yes, Gboard has many options for the inside keyboard. You can have it one handed mode where it will only show it on one side, separated like you have it or full screen like a computer keyboard
Also when's the next wallpaper drop
I need to get on that. Maybe we do Vancouver scenic for the next one 👀.
I’m really excited for the future but folding phones is definitely not it. Great video though ❤

Can never get over how ugly the bezeles on the front screen are...its so simple to make it right..I dont know why google didnt fix that
It's not ugly. It's just you. If you want an all screen phone then wait a little couple of years.
@dtincworldnews8922 Yup..will wait till google fixes it next year.
tbh that's not something that stood out to me, but i can understand where you're coming from! Looking forward to future updates. Thanks for watching mate!

Bring back nexus
Honestly lol
The advantage would be exactly where? I had 3 Nexus devices back then, it's just a name, lol.
This is a Google Pixel video. Nexus is dead. Get over it.

OMG The video is so bad, that I thought you were using a older phone, deal breaker for me, thanks for the video.
Y'all Internet trolls are funny. If you don't like the phone, just say that. But apparently you do because you're watching the review. 🤡
lol sorry you felt that way mate, thanks for watching.
