I love, love, LOVE, when you approach something, consider it, and ultimately go "nah". It's a commendable amount of restraint that more people need.

Some of those man-made obstacles… I have to ask what were they thinking? IMHO, any obstacle that interferes with the intended trail flow should be removed or modified to accommodate the flow. You can have more technical sections on the same trail, for sure, but those should be marked as such so you know a particular section is gonna be slow and technical. And, even for those, there should be a go-around if you just wanted to continue riding along with the flow. Great video - love your approach to solo riding. Clearly a man with a family!

Hahaha this trail was built back in the golden years of freeriding. We had ~650mm wide and 25mm thick bars, everyone was riding an sc bullit/super8, norco vps, or a big hit with either a boxxer or a monster T. This is way before flow and jump trails ever became a thing. You were considered a good rider if you could even make it down the mountain on SLF, even if you bypassed the wood stuff. It is one of the steepest trails on moose and I highly doubt any insurance company would allow this on a resort hill these days. Most people don't even ride SLF anymore. lol

Nice trails, great riding, but bear spray! 7:30. Geez I’m happy kangaroos are herbivores!
