Thanks for the heads up. I just bought an FXR yesterday. I still feel more secure than if i would have bought a Chinese made unit at Tractor Supply or Lowes.
Good Afternoon Josh, I just wanted you to know that you said it well. I think we all love our 2024 Mules. And like you I have never received anything from Kawasaki. Thank you for your shared information and as you said, I believe Kawasaki will have a fix soon. Meantime as you mentioned, checking the throttle body hose clamps and having a fire extinguisher are easy to do and may be the main the main fix. I have insulated my 2024 Mule 1000HD under the seat, fuel tank, storage boxes and the panel at the back of your legs. Also the entire engine compartment. I have some pictures that I will email you. Feel free to share them if there is any interest. The insulation cuts down the heat from the motor and also the sound by over 50%. It is supposed to be fireproof insulation too. Where I live the average year round temperature is in the 80's and sunny. I have 875 miles on my Mule in three months of daily use. I use it mostly on the road but off road too on jobsites on a very mountainous island.
Like you said kawa is still one of the best and it happens to all the first gen models. Its just a simple fact. Granted kawa probably should’ve checked it before they sent out the machines but it is what it is. I think in terms of the gift card thing, they probably should’ve done alot more. Ppl are very unhappy with it and for some its costing them business/money. I will say this tho, the little time i spent with the machine ive been very impressed and enjoyed it. But yes more needs to be done in the realm of compensation.
I sure hope it won't be much longer, mine has been sitting in the garage for 2 months now and I sure didn't buy it for that. There customer service stinks and the follow up information on the recall is none existence. Never expected this from kawasaki.

Thanks for the video Josh!
As the delay seems endless, I am loving mine a whole lot less every day it sits unused at the dealership. Thanks for the video.
I’m sorry man, that really sucks. If you buy one and they don’t let you take it that right there should be a reason to buy it back
What is the top speed?
@@bretskellenger517 I hit 66 mph
