    The biggest problem I had with most if not all reviews of the Zorro 4-in-1 is that, it has a back plate for external modules which nobody covers or haven't bothered to get information. Meaning that it should accept a Crossfire and yes... an Expresslrs module. That alone in my mind allows the 4-in-1 to be upgraded to include/add Expresslrs capability just like the Jumper T-Lite and the rest. Everybody wants to do a review, but it's the same repetitious information (appreciated nonetheless), however, I would think if it has an external module back plate, "What can I do with it?"

      You can add a Crossfire Nano or ExpressLRS module so making the Zorro 4 in 1 more versatile if you have the budget.

    I ordered mine when RadioMaster announced the Zorro, I've had it a few days. It's good for pinchers like me, I've no idea how you thumbers fly and don't get me started on Mode One... I have some higher capacity batteries on order, same physical size but I don't think battery life will be a problem. I intend to fly fixed-wing, mostly gliders with mine but I concur if it flies I'm interested. Looking forward to the EdgeTX tutorials.

      Hey there is room in this world for Mode 1 & Mode 2! 😃 Fingers and thumbs they are all the same just get out and fly. Hopefully weather permitting tomorrow going to fly a drone and a wing with the Zorro.

    Thanks for the Zorro videos you’ve posted so far. Any plans to do a video on customising the information displayed on the screen pages? I’m assuming we can add information like telemetry data etc, but I can’t work out how to do it.

      Hi Paul, no we cannot customise the front screen but we can add screens in the Model Display windows. These are activated by tapping the Tele button. Video to follow in the future but for now tap the MDL button goto screen 12/12 Select None and change to Nums. Scroll down to first line, there are 4 available with 2 options, click enter to select what you would like to display in that position. When in the Zorro’s opening screen you tap TELE button you will see a new screen with the items you selected. If you set up more that one screen tap the page button to scroll through the pages.

    Hi Bill. Congrats for your Video. Currently I have Radiomaster Tx16s (4 in 1 version). I'm happy but I find it a little big and heavy. I'm considering to switch it to the Zorro. This radio offer the same freautures concerning the range and protocols compatibility as the TX16s? Thanks in advance and regards

      @the-happy-RC-flyer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Oscar, they are different radios in terms of switch layout and number of switches. The protocols are the same for the 4 in 1 radios. I have not tested the range between the TX16S and the Zorro the only thing I can say is an external antenna of the TX16S should give better range. I like both of the radios I use my TX16s for fixed wings and the Zorro for drones. The weight and ergonomics of the Zorro can be a factor in someone’s choice.

    You mentioned that multi protocol means it can bind to FrSky, FlySky, etc. I have two questions:
    1. What does 4 in 1 mean? Are there 4 protocols?
    2. Does the ELRS version have a module bay that could be used with an external Crossfire module?
    Thanks!

    • @the-happy-RC-flyer
      @the-happy-RC-flyer  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 4 in 1 has for chips so has multi protocols to bind many different receivers. The Zorro does have a module bay.

      @@the-happy-RC-flyer Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to find out where the list of protocols is.

    I enjoyed this. I am confused though on the different versions. I am considering the 4 in1 but unsure what all protocol are available in it. I purchased the T8 Pro after watching your reviews and am wanting to step up a little. Would the 4 in 1 be a good choice? Thanks for your videos you have helped me a lot.

    • @the-happy-RC-flyer

      This is a difficult one to answer. If you have lots of different makes of receivers and you want to use the Zorro then the 4 in 1 is the answer. I would only purchase the CC2500 if I had a very limited budget. Now on to the ExpressLRS version I am excited about this version in terms of many manufacturers will produce receivers for this radio so that should keep the price down. At this time it is not as straightforward to set up as other systems. If you are thinking of getting into ExpressLRS later you could purchase the Zorro 4 in 1 and later purchase a ExpressLRS external module at a later date to dabble in this new open source radio link system. I have a lot of different receivers so pleased I have the 4 in 1 version. RadioMaster has sent me the ExpressLRS version to review.

      @@the-happy-RC-flyer as you may know I am new to most of this but wanting to be able to use ELRS module when ready to experiment. That's why I was considering the 4 in 1. Thanks.

    Do you think this would be better than getting like a dx6e?

      It is up to you. I like the Zorro radio and will use it for all of my drones. Because of the trims good for wings too. For larger fixed wings I use my TX16s but for no particular reason! 😃

    Hi! What are those 4 in 1 on this RC? Just can't understand which variant to choose. Whats is the meaning of 1,2,3 and 4?

    • @the-happy-RC-flyer
      @the-happy-RC-flyer  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Eugen, the 4 in 1 has an internal module which has the ability to connect to many different brands of receivers so FrSky, FlySky, Spektrum, Futaba and many many more. The 4 in 1 does include the CC2500 chip as 1 of the 4. If you purchase the CC2500 version you can only connect with a few protocols basically FrSky. The ExpressLRS version will only connect to ExpressLRS receivers. So your choice depends on the receivers you want to use. I think for the beginner and to have the pick of many different receiver types go for the 4 in 1 version you can always add an ExpressLRS module on the back of the radio at a later date.
