Radiomaster has become the new big player and delivers and improves good quality radios usually. This one has the big advantage in the big display and the caliration trims and also the adjustabel limiters of the gimbal. BUT: only 2x 900 mAh small exotic and expensive batteries - the external battery spot is not the best solution and I bet we will see a different version on Chrismas cause too many will complain about the small batteries, so they will have to extend the lower wings where the batteries are stored. Compared to Jumper the radiomaster has become really big volume wise and for that size everyone expect 2x 18650 cells. good radio , but not perfect cause the size is too big for too less battery. The disturbing noise usually is caused by coils and interference.
Nice review. You pointed out a few things, I hadn't seen mention elsewhere. Like the additional noise when sounds play. Looking forward to hearing more once you have flown some with this radio.
Might need to make some sort of resistance piece for those scroll wheels, a small piece of rubber or nylon that will fit inside slightly to give that little bit of feel.

When flying big gliders I prefer to use the big radios still, I'll be using this one for smaller projects and even DLG gliders.
