We've seen our first dusting of snow this week and I'm gearing up *FINALLY* for some large STOCKING UP FREEZER AND PANTRY GROCERY HAULS in between digging out all the Holiday decorations! The most delightful part of watching these videos is the complete absence of prejudice toward recipes…. Does peanut butter work in eggs? •Who knows? Does cottage cheese make a good substitution for rice in a bean burrito bowl? •Well I haven’t heard otherwise! Does blended split peas and runny yogurt blended make a good substitution for Mac and cheese sauce? •You darn tootin’ it does! And Mr Wanders is always there in the background, happily eating and taking the concoctions to work😊 You are a good egg Jessica, and a delight to watch.

“I’m no cake decorator!” Cracked me up because my brain immediately went “no but you are a meatloaf decorator” and then I wondered if meatloaf is technically a meat cake, all things considered
@@JessicaWandersI totally forgot about this! I’ve made a copycat of White Castle sliders, and it had some peanut butter in the meat mixture. I was very skeptical but it was delicious and you can’t even taste it, it just does the same to the texture as it did here to the eggs, makes it creamier
I was totally gonna say that pasta dish screams for chicken.. lol. Some creative dishes this week! Even though I can only have one of them, hah. well done! 👍🫱👉
I have noticed lots of yolks breaking lately. Perhaps they wanted to use dry cottage cheese for the bowls. That would make the bowls a bit less watery. Or drain off the cottage cheese a bit.
Ya…the eggs were being weird this week and they were the new ones that I bought from the store rather than the usual ones I get from a friend 🤔 I’ll have to be more careful!
lol no, that’s just a container I reuse to make my own plain yogurt in 😜 That’s the first time anyone has noticed that! I hadn’t thought about it. Good eye!

Peanut butter makes great energy bites. Add honey, oats, dried fruit etc.

The eggs were probably less fresh than usual. The membrane around the yolk weakens over time
