      @@triplevee808 Enrollment doesn't open back up officially until May, but if you haven't previously signed up for my free masterclass at wesmcdowell.com/training you can sign up for it, then you'll get a 1-week window in which you can enroll. But you only get one chance at that, so if you've already done it, it won't let you sign back up.

    You said ideally the images should reflect the customers' story -- That's a keeper statement Wes!
    I have seen sooooo many websites that have design over function, and ones that do NOT connect with the customer/client/patient they are trying to serve.
    If they could connect better, their websites would surely be more successful.

    I took Wes' course and can't tell you how many aspects it hits for us small business owners.
    While I was doing it, I could see all the mistakes I had done in the past. I was trying to create and promote a corporate image, when in reality it's about conveying a more human and personable one for our clients.
    Definitely worth the investment!

      @@WesMcDowellInc would you happen to have any examples of small service businesses that do this really well? I own a power washing biz and im rebranding things now… I may be erroneously going for a super-pro bigtime corporate image when I should be more personable. Then again I don’t wanna seem like just a peabrain with a truck and some helpers. Any examples would be super appreciated! Thanks for all you do!!

    Great advices as usual. Only problem with all this, specially at 12:46, it's the opposite of what you do when optimizing for SEO : (

    Some great points, but I'm not sure I agree with the copy before UI/UX approach, unless your copywriter understands good UI/UX practices it becomes a bit of a mess to deal with and design around. I've personally tried many different ways to figure out the best solution, so far I've found only true way to get a good result is when both parties work together from the start and come up with a solid wireframe. You can be a great copywriter but if you don't understand UI/UX the results going to be rather rubbish, and creates a lot more work between both parties having to go back and fourth to try and fix the issue.

    • @silviazac7492
      @silviazac7492 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting objection. I would like to know more about why you think starting with content can mess up UX/UI. Wes means a content strategy, not the exact words. You can later perfect the writing to fit the space you have on the website to make the design as UX/UI optimized.

    Hey Wes, on your facebook ads video you suggested asking "want a floor to ceiling sparkling clean home, but dont have the time?" but wouldn't this be against facebook's assumptions policy? I'm not trying to call you out or anything, I'm simply confused by that Facebook policy lol

    • @WesMcDowellInc
