My controller automatically makes me jump at random times, I’ve kept it because it actually helps me in fights I start jumping and sweating on kids in warzone😂

I had mad drift trouble on my controller and whenever I played and walked forward my guy would go right as well and I had to constantly stop my movement to get it to stop, this worked so well and it stopped completely after I blew into it. Thank you for sharing this trick.

The blowing method didn’t work for me, my controller is like whenever I move forward and stop it keeps going that way same with backwards
@@Lowkey_Magiic I'm sorry to say but maybe it's too broke for it to have worked, blowing into it was supposed to remove dust that could be stuck and be messing with the components, but if it's damaged in some way then it shouldn't work.
Same exact thing happened to me and i just couldnt play and i was skeptical at first about blowing into the controller but it actually helped and im so happy now

This guy is a legend. I've been going nuts because of my controller drift. I could barely play any games because my controller would do things by itself and all it took was to blow on the thumbstick 😂
Going back to old school blowing and using q-tips like back with cartridge games

I never had much of a problem with stick drift- it was there, just not a big deal- until I started playing Elden Ring, and now its a problem. This took a few tries, but just blowing got rid of all stick drift eventually. Thanks!
I think it’s cause the game requires you to press r3 all the time which wears down the stick

Dude, I was just about to get a new controller because of the stick drift. I just got one at Christmas and was super bummed out. Then I saw this video and just blew in the joystick and completely fixed it!! You saved me $70!

My joystick would take a second to start responding and drifted for a second after being released and made every game feel like I was skating. Was planning on buying a new controller tomorrow but decided why not try something first. Pushed it in one direction, gave it a blow, instantly working fine after 5 minutes of testing. This may sound odd but. If your controller keeps drifting down the UI screen lift up your LT or RT that will fix the problem. Sometimes it get stuck, especially if you play FPS a lot.
Not gonna lie I'm really shocked .The controller I used this method on has been messed up for the longest and after trying this method the joystick hasn't moved on itself at all yet.For anyone who is unsure about this method try it first,it's really easy(you can also just blow really hard on the controller cuz that's what I did) and use the alcohol as well and see what happens.Thank you for showing us this option creator ✨👍🏽

Cheers for this. Was watching some other popular ones that suggest removing the part that provides optimal L3 function and spidey sense was saying no. Your video confirmed to me that a can of air or at most a small amount of WD40 would suffice. Controller fixed with air, no need for alcohol/wd40.

No, only isopropyl alcohol. Hand sanitizer is more jellylike so it’d stay inside the controller.

You'll probably need to do this multiple times and try other ways that don't involve taking the whole controller apart
To really make it work but yeah this definitely helped
Best way to fix it is to manually take the front face off the controller and just clean the sticks or whatever buttons that needed to be clean and then test the controller once you’re satisfy just put it back together, done. Its so easy and does not take too much time.
But ya need e specific screwdriver
You need the right tools and if you can easily mess up tons of things by opening your controller
Take a shot of the alcohol everytime he says specific

worked for me, get a new controller, 90% of the time this works but if it doesn't u need a new controller
I did this and the drift seems to have increased nonetheless
That means your drift was really bad
Step 1: Take battery out of controller, wait a min.
Step 2: Pour isopropyl directly into both sticks
Step 3: Wait to dry (~1hr), use a fan to speed it up
Step 4: Enjoy your driftless controller.
Liquids only damage stuff when it's powdered. Isopropyl especially is safe with accessory electronics so long as it's powered off and you wait for it to evaporate before turning it back on.
I dump a bottle of isopropyl into my keyboard and in my controller every few months. Works perfectly fine everytime. Isopropyl won't erode anything either.
