The most underrated car out there. This deserves more attention.

I agree, I recently bought a 2021. It only had 14k miles on it. It's a all around nice car. I rarely see them on the road.

@Jorgo I've owned mine for 6 weeks. It's a great car. GM gave the 2.0L Turbo ALOT of low end torque, you only have to give it 1/4 throttle and poof your at 50mph. If you buy used in the Luxury trim, find one with the sunroof because you get the 15 speaker Bose stereo that's phenomenal & navigation. This is my 1st American car, it's very different from my Acura's & Hondas of the past, I'm impressed with it. One flaw is the gas tank doesn't lock, besides that I can't find any. It's a all around really nice car, you will be superised at how much low end torque the turbo 4 has. It's plenty of power. I'm 39 years old, I'm not trying to race anyone anymore, so 240hp is plenty of power for me personally. If you want something more powerful in the same price bracket the Genesis may be a better option. As of 6 weeks of ownership of the 2021 CT5 I have no complaints.

@cartrack730 7 months into ownership, I bought mine 4/3/23. Have put 4k miles on it. No mechanical issues. Luckily my work is only 2 miles from home. The only problem I've had is the rear applique on the rear driverside door was fading from the sun. The Cadillac dealership replaced them under warranty. I recommend putting a coat of Meguiers Hybrid Ceramic Wax on the car to protect the paint & the appliques on the doors. Just had the oil changed, throttle body clean, air & cabin filter changed at 18k miles. Yeah, just routine maintenance.

    As an owner of a 2023 CT5 550T, and a previous owner of a 2021 CT5 350T
“ as shown here “ I can speak for both models. Visually the cars look the same. I customized mine with every option. How ever the most important upgrade… is the twin turbo V6. The gentleman in this video does a good job reviewing the car. However, as somebody who has owned both vehicles the difference between the two is astronomical. in my opinion, the four-cylinder which comes standard in every single model unless you specifically order the TwinTurbo V6, is extremely under powered. The CT5 is a heavy vehicle, on top of all wheel drive. I drove mine religiously on the Thruway and it struggled in my opinion to catch up to speed or pass people. If you’re thinking about getting a CT5 I think it’s a phenomenal car and I love it everything about it. They’re extremely underrated. Take my advice, order the 550T
premium luxury if you could spare the money. It runs so much smoother with the bigger engine there’s no vibrations and it doesn’t sound like a Chevy cobalt. However if you’re just getting one to get a Cadillac the four-cylinder will suffice. I was extremely disappointed with the power of the four-cylinder.

Thank you for your wonderful review.
I live in Japan, and I was drawn to the beauty of the CT5 so I got it.
From GM Japan, you can't get the V series or Blackwing, only the 350T. (Super Cruise and even a sunroof are not an option)
It is true that it may be difficult to make full use of V6 and V8 in Japan's small land area.
However, as this gentleman has said, I don't think the benefits of this car are limited to that.
In fact, I am living a fulfilling life.
I hope more people will buy this beautiful car.

OMG what a chintzy looking looking vehicle. I went to a dealer and couldn't believe the bad alignment of the body panels. The interior trim wouldn't pass muster in a Honda Civic. I was disappointed. Thought I would see how you online evaluators felt. Cheap, cheap, cheap. You don't get much here for $60,000.

Again with the "air". This car has a fully automatic climate system that works quite well. That means you select "Auto" & desired "temp" in degrees. Bingo, the car does the rest. When I see "LO" on temp setting , that means you're using it like manual A/C. What gives?
