My dad was a Royal Enfield and Panther motorcycle dealer in the early to late sixties, in Cincinnati Ohio. Named Herb Ader Motorcycle Sales & Service. He only got two Fury 500s, one like that one with lights, like a enduro model, the other was a racer , no electrics. A guy asked him every year to sell him one , he finally did sell him the one with lights. The racer I have to this day, only ridden by him and I around large back yard a couple of times. Has less the 5 mi. on bike. Nice video on a forgotten or never known bike. Thanks well detailed.
Fuzzy the compression levers were required on later jap bikes too many riders broke legs on xr 500s and y tt 500s here in nz from memory wheelie machines!

Looks a little like that new Hunter model that Royal Enfield has recently introduced.
