A bright festive trumpet tune in the Renaissance dance style.. A great performance here on the Rotterdam sampleset. A very articulate performance. It is a joyful happy piece. I like it very much, Paul. Thanks !

In der zweiten Hälfte des vierten Taktes hatte ich immer wieder den Wunsch, mit der linken Hand einen absteigenden Vierling zu hören. Ich wünschte, Sie würden das zur Komposition hinzufügen. Und bei den letzten beiden Achtelnoten in diesem Takt steigt nicht nur die linke, sondern auch die rechte Hand auf, was zum nächsten Takt führt. Das wäre sehr sympathischer. In the second half of the fourth measure I kept wanting to hear a descending quadruplet with the left hand. I wish you would add that to the composition. And the last two eighth notes in that measurehave not only the left hand, but the right hand ascending, leading into the next measure. That would be very more likable.
Wenn es in eine Moll-Tonart übergeht, streiche ich es von meiner Wiedergabeliste. Wenn es dorisch oder phrygisch gewesen wäre, würde ich es behalten, aber geringfügig ist psychisch schädlich. When it modulates into a minor key I strike it from my playin list. If it had been Dorian or Phryggian I would keep it, but minor is psychologically damagin.
