Hi Paul; I think that Manascot below has made a crucial observation. Hauptwerk with 'Fey plus' perhaps points to a new worship medium - and the Fey element of course will develop as others emerge. A sort of harpsichord / pianoforte 'graduation'?.The worship bands were / are a sort begging for more plus a reach for heart and soul at a new level - not just zap. The 'younger generation' have been short-changed - underestimated long enough. Good music is always good for great worship . With 'Haupt plus' we have the new. Cost / space is more a must rather than just a 'saving'. And then it's just choose your sample set for this Sunday ....New days ?

Seh und hör es zwar etwas verspätet (die Aktivierung und Einarbeitung in ein neues Audio Interface hat mich nicht weggelassen), aber deshalb klingt und ist es nicht weniger grandios. Von diesem jungen Organisten kann man nur begeistert sein (und kein bissl weniger). Danke für diese wunderschöne Musik, auch wenn ich ich mich immer wieder wiederhole, die Begeisterung nimmt nicht ab.
Geniale Stücke! Gerade das kurze über "Nun danket alle Gott" ist einfach perfekt als Vorspiel für einen Gottesdienst. Aber auch die anderen Trumpet-Tunes sind wirklich toll. Jetzt bau ich jeweils in meine Orgeln ein Hochdruckwerk mit einer schönen Tuba ein und dann kann ich die auch perfekt spielen.
I'm happily adding this to my treadmill play list. That is a compliment. Now, to get the tread speed presets set right... Snarky comment aside, it is great and fine and promising to hear these works being made and played in the present day. Welt ohne Ende.
Wonderful pieces!!! The only way this could be better (at least for me) is if you could play them on a big, English Willis, or Harrison & Harrison, with a Tuba Mirabilis! That's about the only thing the Marcussen is lacking, but I don't think they would ever build one. Just not their "thing". BRAVO! 😁💯🐧

I bought your trumpet tune in G and the one in D Major. I used the one in G this past Sunday as a prelude. The congregation really loved it! Keep up the good work! The one problem that I see is that the website doesn’t list your works in US dollars. You might wanna look into that! I think I’m going to go ahead and invest in the next series that you have of all these Trumpet tunes

Paul, please excuse this long comment. When I was growing up in the 1940's and 1950's nearly all churches of all denominations had pipe organs and talented, dedicated musicians. Music for worship was inspired and inspiring. Then all that changed - and not always for the better: all change is not necessarily progress. I am still a worshiping Christian, but church music is often boring and uninspired. Congregations are losing members; the young find worship services unattractive for several reasons. Your compositions bring a much needed freshness and even excitement. Christian worship is supposed to be a celebration, fueled by great preaching and wonderful music. People tell me: pipe organs are too expensive. However pipe organ viable alternatives like the instrument on which you demonstrate your compositions are affordable and produce wonderful and varied sounds. Were I in a position to hire a church musician, I would require that the person be familiar with your compositions and include them in the worship repertoire. Congregational worship would sparkle again. Many thanks. Andre
Thank you so much, Andre! In Germany we are facing these problems too - the church tries to substitute the organ with praise bands to impress the youth. The thing they are not seeing is, that the organ isn’t the problem - it’s the things which are played (often badly and without motivation) 😀 I‘m 23 and I love organ music which is played well, no band can substitute that!
Paul, it appears that there are three kick switches on this organ. What does each one do? Also, there are two swell pedals. Does one have multiple functions, so it can be a crescendo pedal or a swell pedal?
