the low heel cupping was a big issue for me and led to very bad lockdown, where I had to compensate by overtightening and then shoe was too narrow and squeezed my foot from the outer toe side. shoe is a no go for me...

Neither. Nike rubber is way too soft for outdoor, outside of the Cosmic Unity line. You'll burn through them insanely fast. Adidas is generally better, but not by a massive amount. Seems like the Chinese brands are much better suited for outdoor use from everything I've seen, because of the harder rubber compounds they use
