On my last highway ride it showed me avg of 39kmpl, i ride under 4000rpm and maintaining speeds between 70 to 90, even if the displayed milage is not really 39kmpl and supposed to have a 3-4kmpl error, still it is a great number, also how accurate is the avg milage on meter compared to obtained milage?
@tejas8467 I completely agree. In this video, I achieved a fuel efficiency of approximately 34-35 kilometers per liter with a single rider. Additionally, I've occasionally reached speeds of over 100, 120, and 140 kilometers per hour.
You'll likely achieve a well-balanced mileage. Nonetheless, fuel choice plays a crucial role, and opting for E20 fuel will substantially influence your mileage results.
Bhai apko Trip 2 ke bad jo option ayega wohi wala hai.. Jab bike ruki rahegi tab "- - km/l" show hoga. Aur jab bike chalne lagegi tab wahan pe real time mileage show hoga just like Car.
As per my riding style, I try to follow: City ==> 20-30kmph on 3rd gear; 30-50kmph on 4th gear; 40-60kmph on 5th gear; 50-80+kmph on 6th gear; Highway ==> 20-40kmph on 3rd gear; 40-60kmph on 4th gear; 50-70kmph on 5th gear; 60-90+kmph on 6th gear; If you can see I am shifting gears very early, not reving above 4500 rmp. If you rev more you will be consuming more fuel depending on the gear position. Try these and let me know if you see any improvements in your fuel economy.
Hi th-cam.com/channels/YpnH_oJKkzm32T6o89iZsg.html I have bought the first lot/generation of this newly built bike. As per experts I was aware that it will come with problems. We are seeing those ones like - broken swing arm, stalling issue, fuel pump issue, fuel indicator issue and so on. As new generations of triumph singles will be produced, it will get better and costlier. We have seen this with KTM singles produced by Bajaj. Older 1st gen KTM singles were having issues and now it have been rectified well and quality level also gotten better. So I am hoping Bajaj will use the same learning if these mini triumphs gets sold in good numbers in near future. I hope your concerns are due to Bajaj being the manufacturer of these units. To answer your question, for Aug 2023 lot I am hoping it will last 5+ years. As per my observation build quality is fine. Also there is 2 years of warranty which will definitely help buyers if there are major issues uncovered while using these singles. Also once you stepped into this power territory, your will desire for twins / triples etc. So after 3-4 years if you are financially stable there are high chances you will go for more refined and powerful bikes.
@@Rahgir_TheTourer The triumph speed 400 has just touched 12,000 units delivered. It's selling like hot cakes. The issue with this is if it sells so much so quickly, company has little to no incentive to improve things in subsequent versions (example RE classic 350) It will just be new paint jobs and price increase from here onwards. So trusting the build quality to ensure it lasts atleast for 5-7 years is important. Maybe I will move on to better and quicker bikes in future but the resale value is affected if it's not built to last. Also for most people buying it, they are getting it on emi so it will be painful if the bike wears out before the loan is paid off.
@swabhimanbaral Yeah you got a point. The main thing to note here is that Triumph is also having international market where these units will be sold. So to maintain brand rapport they have to work on customer feedback and maintain quality standards. At least that is what I am hoping for. Lets see how it goes.
Bro Usually you will get around 24-25 kmpl in City having a little bit of fun. If you ride every time for fun then it will come down. So it totally depends how you ride. Usually if you ride calmly then you can churn out City- 27 kmpl, Highway- 33 kmpl
@@Rahgir_TheTourer I have never gone beyond 6k rpm.. even this is minimal .. I normally ride in a decent way in terms of speed and with speed 400 I drive even more calmer.. very rare have I raised the accelerator too much.. but still the mileage is very low

@@Rahgir_TheTourer so riding under limits and linearly accelerating will return great milage too similar to its 350cc counterparts in market

When did you buy your bike? Manufacturing month?
I placed order in July, 2023 last week.. Got it on 1st Week of September. Manufactured in Aug 2023.

Can you tell what is the average speed and gear should i maintain in highway and city to get the best mileage?

I maintained average speed of 100 kmph.
Most of the time I try not to hard accelerate.
Bro my average is currently showing 24 and getting around 223KM bike again wants full tank..not able to get any solution..if you could provide ?
