Ryan welcomes on guest host and friend of the show, Steve Sabourin of CKNX Jr Hockey, as they sit down with Justin Pooni of Homestand Sports to make NFL season predictions.
Picks are made for MVP, Offensive and Defensive POTY in the AFC and NFC, and the guys pick division winners for all 8 NFL divisions, too, with a couple surprising picks.
Following that, Justin, who also hosts Homestand Leafs, gives his thoughts on the Maple Leafs naming Auston Matthews their new captain ahead of the 2024-25 season. Will this change anything and boost them to playoff success?
To end off, Ryan and Steve send condolences to the family and friends of local hockey legend, Doug Kennedy. Doug was a huge presence in local Jr C and beyond, and passed away this week leaving behind a huge legacy.
Also, the guys discuss the upcoming 20th season of CKNX Jr Hockey, which promises to be a very exciting year across the PJHL and the Pollock Division, as well as the GOJHL as the Listowel Cyclones defend the Sutherland Cup.
