Thank you! You probably saved me a string with this excellent explanation. I hope Killer Instinct takes notice and incorporates your explanation of this part of the assembly.
brilliant! I think you are the only one who explains that part of the cable assembly very well, thank you, thank you very much! I really appreciate your video. Since I ruined the rope of my first killer instinct. and I had to return it to the bass pro shop. congratulations, nice video
I skipped this on mine since the video I was watching didn't show it. I actually saw your video and was able to put this on and pull the strings down enough by hand to have me wife slide this into place. Wasn't lookn forward to taking it apart to start over. Thanks for the video.
Your so right about the cable slide, I bought one in 2017 and had to call KI and bitch at them about the vagueness of the cable slide instructions. My KI 350 has been killing hogs without a glitch for 4 years. It now has night vision on it..Thanks for the video..
this was a good video - wish it were posted about 2 hours prior to my putting my lethal 405 together. I did find a video from KI, but the guy kept stepping in front of the crossbow when installing the slide. at least after watching your video, I can rest easy that I installed it correctly.
Just what I was looking for my buddy got one and I noticed he didn’t have it on the bow I’m sending this to him! Thanks for the video it’s the only one have found!!
Just bought one a couple weeks ago, great bow for the money and excellent bow for a 1st time hunters. BassPro/Cabelas will assemble and sight to 20 yards for free.
K.I. contacted me and explained there situation. They have been short on staff, but are sending me a new scope this next week. I must admit that once they contacted me I realized that they do want a good relation with customers. They do have customer service.👍
I won one of these crossbows and I gave it to my grandson and we put it together. I totally agree. They lost over that part I almost missed. It should be in red and instructions manual exactly what to do and not to forget this part.
I no longer have problems with ED thanks to my bag of "Last Supper" deer corn! It absolutely works great. And I ran out of my normal cologne so I just ordered a case of "Promiscuous Doe"! Can't wait to bathe in that and see what the ladys think of this stuff! Thanks Camaro's Crawlers! Another satisfied customer.
Funny you should mention this I bought the same crossbow a few days ago I saw the slide piece I put it aside and attached the limbs and cable to the barrel then realized that piece had to go back on cables and slide a little do over lol.
I think I'm going to buy one of these. I had one in my hand today and put it back. I've never shot a crossbow so I wasn't sure if this brand was worth a crap
I got this bow and I'm going to say what everybody's thinking but nobody is saying the quality and craftsmanship the power the speed of the arrows this bow should cost five times what they're selling it for because it does just that it does what $1,000 bows can't even do this crossbone has really changed the market
2 QUESTIONS BELOW Last time we messaged you said you were trying to get a crank. I got one last March but it's a older version with the gray string. I just shot the 405 today, first time shooting a crossbow and realized to double check everything. At one point I realized a part of the crank string got caught on the scope adjustment on the right side, after cranking 1/3 of the way. Thankfully I was able to push the string off the scope adjustment (not good for the string or the bow). Do you have any advice or tricks if this situation happened again. Another time I realized one of the crank strings was twisted and I had to just crank until bow line was locked in place. AGAIN, one needs to just double check everything to make sure there are now twists or hang ups with the the crank strings before cranking (says it in the crank manual too). I just got carried away and rushed because the bow was so fun to shoot and was accurate to a 1 and half inch square at 20 yards. Do you know how to move the forehand grip/guard in the front? I took the screws out but the bolts on the other side remain and I'm having a hard time getting those bolts out/sliding the forehand grip closer to the rear. I bought my 405 with no crank included on Feb 2021 for $200 at bass pro shops. On black friday, Nov 2021 I noticed bass pro shops was selling the 405 with the crank included for $200. Buying the separate crank cost $129 Thanks for all your crossbow tutorials, definitely helped as a beginner.
Thanks for the video. I’m thinking of ordering one of these tomorrow due to a great deal I found. How has this held up for you? I’ve read some issues with limbs cracking over the last two years.
The limbs have been fine. Now keep in mind it's a cheaper xbow. The safety is a little hard to disengage, it's heavy and hard to cock for smaller bodied persons. But I think it's totally worth the $200 I paid.
Hello new subscriber. Just was wondering if you had any problems with your limbs cracking? I'm debating on this crossbow or getting the Killer Instinct Vital-X.
Yes, his winter Camaro has more rust and it also has studded snow tires in the back. I hope Ronnie doesn't cut into your firewood business too much, KPO.
i bought one yesterday for my son, after i bought it i read the reviews and there were a few that claimed the arms splintered and broke under normal use, has anyone experienced that?
My stock just cracked right out of the box when i tightened down those front bolts , so unfortunately , no looks like i wont be deer hunting this fall. Im so pissed , what a waste of $250
@@KnettersPracticalOutdoors absolutely. I'm new to crossbows completely so figured 169dollars would get me a marginal at best setup. I could not be happier in actuality. It shoots very well out to 50yards and the kids really enjoy it as well.

Thanks for the comment John, KPO.
I didn’t see this part in the other assembly video so I’m glad it’s here. Directions were a little confusing for me. Thanks!

First time crossbow buyer, loved the video!
Awesome! Thank you! Also maybe check out this whole series of crossbow vids I have th-cam.com/play/PLksX0m4wrQHwtboy75o64oBtUhOOtChud.html
I completely skipped that part, good video I’ll be fixing it tomorrow.

Thanks for the update..
I have not bought one for the 200, guess I'm waiting for the next model.
Good Luck this coming season.
So far so good with ours, KPO.

I found that the slide just sits flush and level if on right but will be cockeyed/slopping if on wrong.

gettin mine saturday ! thanx 4 the vid fellow michigander !

move your string stops forward..credit card width..your string stops will last twice as long..

Surprised no one commented on the Viagra feed, shit had me dying 🤣😂🤣😂
Thanks for mentioning that. Maybe everyone else is out trying to buy some!
Very good video thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Glad you did a vid on it KI directions kinda vag
Yes, also check out th-cam.com/video/2Epmr_9ddcM/w-d-xo.html Thanks KPO.

Nice, thanks.
Welcome, KPO.
How are they holding up?
So far so good, KPO.
I bought mine from the store a couple days ago and my strings cross on the right. I don’t know much about it. Is there a place for a crank on it?
You can buy a crank for this model
BIG NOTE, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN BOLTS THAT AFIX THE BOW ASSEMBLY TO THE FRAME, YOU WILL CRACK THE FRAME. Happened to me haha
Noted thanks
Have you had any problems with limbs cracking
Nothing yet.
What do you do if you pulled the string back without it? Mine is stuck set on a safety.
be careful, don't dry fire, try to recock
i bought one yesterday for my son, after i bought it i read the reviews and there were a few that claimed the arms splintered and broke under normal use, has anyone experienced that?
Good so far
I just wanna know if it will kill a deer
The Killer Instinct Lethal 405 will kill a deer.
How many yards does this shoot
60-80, but I limit myself to hunting within 30 yards.
😂😂😂😂😂 they put coffee and viagra in the deer corn omg that’s crazy Ronnie sounds like a crazy dude
He is a little on the crazy side.
My stock just cracked right out of the box when i tightened down those front bolts , so unfortunately , no looks like i wont be deer hunting this fall.
Im so pissed , what a waste of $250
And I was hand tightening them with that little Allen wrench it comes with !! Seriously ???? 😡😡🤬🤬🤬
NOT good, KI should go good for it I hope.
Where is the serial number on these crossbows?
Don't know off the top of my head
