It's a good feeling, to get confirmation from a professional crew that you are doing the same with the wonderful Pro Version of the Majestic Dash Q400.
Bit late to the party but really enjoyed watching this. Great bants - especially liked the part when PM put the parking brake on enroute causing the master caution to light up for a second 😂. An insight into flightdeck CRM was interesting too. Hope you both are doing well post-Flybe.
Hi! Glad you enjoyed watching it - we really had fun making this video. We’re both still working in aviation but we’d love to get back to flying the Dash one day.
Hey! There is, if its modelled correctly (I haven't actually tried this yet). It should be under DATA -> PILOT DATA, then there should be a WAYPOINT option. It will list any existing ones and allow you to create new. Hope this helps. Jimbo.
VS mode was SOPs for the airline we were associated with, but if you take the time to set up the VNAV descent in the FMC that’s also perfectly acceptable!
Hey! It's a V-Speed calculator and setter. Link here: majesticsoftware.com/forums/discussion/245/v-speed-calculator-and-setter-xml-gauge hope this helps! Jimbo

Love your videos!
This is not the Jersey I was expecting. I don't think that one has bagels :(
Is there a way of making custom waypoints or fix in the DH8D?

@@FlyFromHome thanks Jimbo! Will give it a go and see.
Do you guy's always use V/S to descend? Why not VNAV?
