Ratchet & Clank 1 Speedrunning Tricks Compilation

Here is a compilation of speed running tricks that you can do for fun on PS3 Ratchet & Clank 1 on your first play through of the game with some practice. In this video we skip Planet Aridia & Planet Kalebo 3.

Magneboots warp is not part of a speedrun ,but it is used to undo potential no progress game save. This is useful if you didn't collect the Magneboots first time round after pulling of the Clank trick.

Here is a few videos on the infinite bolt glitch useful to help you buy the RYNO a early,but it takes about a day to accumulate 1 million with this glitch.
The downside is if you have broken the boxes or played the level before it won’t work again. It only works on your 1st play through.

Eso juego es muy divertido y obviamente esos trucos no son fácil a hacer pero cuando entrenamos podemos hacer todos los trucos . Yo diría que son bastante interesante y nos ayuda un montón a acelerar todo el juego.

Do you know if it is possible to do infinite jumps on Vita? I just beat the game without the key or hologuise, but I want to beat it without the swing shot and the hydro displacer. I want to do a new handheld gadgets run.

I did the underwater thing for Rilgar but failed actually going through it.
and then when I died, I kept attempting to try it, but it wouldn’t do it again; I just die automatically. does it only work if I reset the level or something?

Awesome well done. I think you should be able to do it again after dying under the water. It’s a little tricky, but you could try restarting the level if that makes you feel happier or makes you feel you are more likely to get it.

Any tips on Orxon clank skip. I can get high and sometimes hit the floor but I have trouble clipping through.

Its a very frustrating skip because you can jump at the tree for along time or a short period of time.
Don’t give up but try and place Clank in the angle that I got the clip through the wall fast like in the second optimised clip of the skip.
Also when coming back in bounds I recommend slowly moving in little increments and be aware that the camera will shake like crazy.
Try to adjust the camera when you can.
Then do your best to position yourself in the pipe like I did. It’s is very tricky to get the last bit to trigger because punching through the pipe sometimes doesn’t trigger clank to fling up in the air.
A few times I got the trick but only to fall out of the pipe back in bounds.
You will get it just keep trying.

How do you do the first Umbrus door clip? I don’t get it lol

First you need to activate ghost Ratchet,
To activate Ghost Ratchet as you fall down into the sand quickly use your gadget to lift you back up.
You saw me in the video drop into the sand pit but at the right moment I used the swing shot to lift up preventing a death.
Now this sand gives you special properties like the ability to go through walls.
The game register’s you are still alive but for some reason when you touch the sand it changes your hit box and that is why you can clip through walls.
Once you have activated this glitch it’s just precise jumping and hitting the ladder. You will know you got it right when Ratchet elevates up the ladder.
