    All I can say is God bless you I wish that I had been educated on what this process would have looked like I started my dreads almost 2 years ago on relaxed hair. The person that start my locs did not educate me on what their process will look like of having two different textures I struggled I ended up doing the big chop which that was not what I wanted to do. Since being depressed behind my hair being short and not being able to style my hair. My hair is still too short to fit in one ponytail. It takes so long for the length to show. Trying to continue to trust the process.

      @EnToiBeauty  3 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      so sorry to hear that. I wish some people would educate more. Are you locd now? Please trust the process. I have a video that I'll be posting soon with different short styles. Stick around. I got you sis. Btw, one of the reasons I cut my hair was to show people with short locs that you can still enjoy it while it's short.

    I have been thinking of getting micro locs but I unfortunately have heat damaged hair and so I have been hesitant to commit bc I was unsure if I was going to have to do another big chop but your page has been so helpful and informative. Thank you so much. Im now getting closer to making a full commitment to micro locs.

    My hair is part loc, two strand twist and texturized perm at the ends so it's braided to keep from unraveling. I like the length it gives me so I doubt if I will cut it off. I'm just happy that it's locking .

    I started microlocs with two strand twists 3 weeks ago. My hair is shoulder length but the but the bottom 3-4 inches are relaxed hair. I do braid outs every night. I have about 270 locks. So far so good. Thanks for the tips.

    • @EnToiBeauty
      @EnToiBeauty  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would not recommend loc extensions. If your hair is damaged then it's prone to breakage. The weight of the extension maybe too much for your hair, especially if you have fine low density hair.

    I have a texturizer that I’m growing out (5 mos since my last touch up) and I’m interested in microlocs/sisterlocs. However I have been wanting colored locs if I do decide to loc my hair. Should I cut off my processed hair/dye my natural hair before installing microlocs or could I install the locs and then dye my hair? I’m thinking the former but would appreciate your opinion.

    • @EnToiBeauty
      @EnToiBeauty  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I would cut off the processed hair, dye my hair and then loc it. But if dying it a light blonde, I would loc my hair first and color once my locs are mature.

    • @ChristSaves88
      @ChristSaves88 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @EnToiBeauty
      @EnToiBeauty  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Decide on what locking method you want to start with first and then find someone that will loc it for you. Some people cap the length they will loc for their own sanity, lol. Before booking a consultation with anyone, ask if they have a hair length limit so you're not paying for a consultation only to find out they only loc up to 6 inches. As far as method, interlocking will give you the most secure given that it's done correctly. Good luck luv
