There are some really crazy weirdos that make themselves banned only to receive a direct message from their streamers. But I think that most of the unban requests are dealed by the mods with big streamers.

Honestly as a latina I see this kind of immature, racist, sexist behaviour in my community all the time. I mostly watch content in english because of that. The spanish speaking communities tend to be so behind from the rest of the world and it just doesnt feel like a safe place (yes, I know obviously is not everyone, but being a latina I know that its a lot of people). Its honestly embarrassing how everytime I see the spanish speaking community interact with other places, it ends up being full of hate, discrimination and stupidity.
I wish we could all educate ourselves better.
I feel the same. They say spanish viewers/communities are very loyal, but I think that comes with a lot of toxicity too. I just watch content in english now, except one or two content creators.
I don't want to generalise all of Spain OFC because toxic people come from every country but a ton of Spanish gamers I've met online have been very toxic, I even asked a Spanish friend and he said its quite common for Spanish people to be very arrogant especially towards non Spanish people

I totally agree, somehow I feel English community more comfortable than the Spanish one, even tho they have their negatives too (= The cancel culture), but I will always choose the English yts more than the Spanish ones. (Plus the Spanish humor I feel like it's very childish sometimes, loud noises, screams and those things)

I appreciate the remark about using certain words with a negative connotation. I actually had that experience when I was younger and someone I cared about had just come out. I didn't realize how hurtful the words I used were (I was 10/11) until I casually used one to joke around with that person and they told me how much that hurt them. It really changed my perspective, and over 10 years later it ended up helping me choose my career!

The amount of Spanish speaking people in the bans calling you racist and cheater when 1) most of the Spanish and Latin team were showing how they also broke rules and how the rules weren’t fully concrete and some were up to interpretation such as how you even said you don’t see the roof as part of the being in the building. 2) the hypocrisy of calling you racist then being racist. I do think some US players went a bit too far on the lack of sportsmanship in a competition, but at the same time those streamers like XQC just play game by smack talking opponents. And in the video you even say some of the Spanish speaking team were smack talking you so it was mutual. That is my two cents on the situation, I mean no hate towards anyone besides the people verbally harassing people or even threatening people on both US and Spanish streamer that is about the event.
