    I love my Signals Desert Sand. Traded my Meteor (which was another great bike from RE) because the upright position was much more comfortable for me. First accessory I added was the heel-toe shifter. A great addition. Also installed similar bags (color-matched to mine), removed the passenger seat, and bought a leather-covered single seat. Totally changed the look, and it is a real hoot around town and out on the country road. Like you said, does everything but go fast, but people who buy these won't buy them for speed. Talk about bringing back the smiles, joy, and simple pleasures of riding! Waiting for the arrival of my next accessory - a black headlight ring with a visor. People smile from ear to ear when they see it, and I cheerfully praise it whenever given the opportunity. Had many bikes from four decades of riding, and this thing is, frankly, special!

      I'm thinking Signals Desert Sand too. This bike does everything a good motorcycle should do...just, like myself, a bit slower. Wahoo!

    Very cool! Thanks for the view! The all-metal parts - that's impressive!

    As someone in the comments section already said that it's a "Timeless Beauty" and I agree 💯%. It will always find admirers.

      Coastrider Scotland has one with 50/50 tires to get him down those tricky roads☺️

    The Marsh Signal Grey and the Stealth Black, with wire wheels, are my two favorite colors in the Classic 350. I like the chrome models but it’d be hard to keep from rusting in the PNW as a daily rider.

      Love that chrome red and the desert tan myself...wahoo!

      @@forgottenmotorcycles If I lived in a dry climate the chrome & red would definitely be my favorite combo. 👍

      @@pinkiewerewolfI live in the UK which sure is not dry and got the Red and Chrome.
      Jenolite inside the mud guards and Silkolene Pro Prep seems to keep my bike rust free and easy to clean.
      But it is not a good model as a commuter bike the army styles are way more practical.

    The Signal Grey bike like that, why grey and not called green I don't know, is the one I got a purchase proposal on from the dealer. I really like the style and look. I've been waffling on whether to buy one and if I can actually fit a fourth machine in my small garage. But I think it would provide a different sort of ride for my TH-cam channel from the Himalayan and Vespa scooter. For a long time I wanted a Triumph Bonneville but the Classic 350 line is much more in line with my visual and physical desires.
    We'll see...

    Yo FB.
    Totally agree one of the best boxes on the market slick as butter
    Great rough rider bikes in the army colours.
    I've gone road bike retro style with the Red and Chrome.
    For legal reasons we cant get rid of the Indicators ( blinkers) which are not real retro .
    But took off the fork reflectors, which was easy with one of those plastic car trim removal tools and looks way better.
    Got the DNA air filter and agree with the owner big improvment in throttle response.
    Fuel X lite box of tricks is on my list for a smoother power output.

    how do you feel about the 350 cc?should i wait for the 500 releasing next year or 350 are enough?

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have not heard about 500 single coming out next year. That would be very interesting maybe making the bike more freeway friendly. As it is now it has very unique and endearing characteristics

    So, is that number on the gas tank the chassis number, or meaningless, ie:just for effect?

    • @forgottenmotorcycles
      @forgottenmotorcycles  ปีที่แล้ว

      The number is not a VIN number or anything like that. However, it is unique to each motorcycle. So every tank has a different number.
