To this day, she can still quote that at the same speed. I saw her do it in a recent interview where the host asked her about this episode, and they did a split screen of this with her, live. She's quite a woman!
@Aaralyn Williams It was something here on TH-cam. I have to take my pre-work nap since I work overnight. Maybe if I get a chance I can look for it again. But she was saying that line to the interviewer while they pulled up this original episode at the same time for comparison on the split screen. It was exact!

This is one of the most iconic black comedy shows that was ever created. It shows love power success in a black family with two parents and loving grandparents on both sides. Some people seem to think that there's no black families like this but there is a lot of black families like this. I still love watching the show It is so great. And let me tell you one thing Do not mess with Claire Huxtable Aunt Viv ,Aunt Helen, Harriet .... And let's not forget the mother s on Moesha, Everybody Hates Chris, 227,Whats Happening,Good Times.... And I always loved the girls' mothers on Living Single ... wonderful Roles . ❤️❤️❤️I miss those days in Tv.
Claire Huxtable--Power and Strong yet Feminine. Self-confident/Assertive yet Humble Educated/Credentialed/Confident yet a great Partner & Wife. Compassionate and Gorgeous yet held her own. A Perfect Example of not being Either/Or but Being Both/And.
I love the way she says, "Now, what would you like in your coffee?" Her expression and her tone are just like Denise's when Denise says something sarcastic.
This show was ON ANTOHER LEVEL in the '80s. There was no other sitcom at the time coming close to the comedy, satire, humor, realism, this show presented on TV. I can see why it was Number 1 in the ratings for multiple years. The writing and the development of the characters and also the acting and delivery still doesn't get its proper credit for how well-delivered it was.

Cliff's character was a beta male on this show.

Just like her real life sister Debbie Allen
She is sooooo beautiful. So regal.
She’s attractive, but not in a beautiful way, more of a confident, know who I am way.
