Boston Whaler 13 Restoration - Throttles, Finishing Touches & Sea Trial

In the final official episode of the Boston Whaler 13 Restoration, we finish installing the throttle and gear controls, the boat gets her decals and we go for a sea trial.

Had a 13 whaler (83 ?) with a 40 Yamaha and it was the worst riding boat but you justify it because it’s a whaler.

I’m about to put a 40 Yamaha on mine. It has a 20 but is way underpowered for 4. Hoping the ride is good!

I still love em , wife felt safe riding rivers , lakes and bay. Can’t take to much chop I had a hand held GPS and all cushions. I also put a negative wedge which kicked motor under a little more instead of getting those big ugly fins.i only had to trim a little till the bow would rise . Moved on

Hello Captain , beautifully boat. I am also on West coast of Florida. Can you share with me where you purchased the upper aluminum inside transom plate where the screw downs from the motor contacts the transom. I'm in need of one for my 61' 13 ft. Whaler. Thanks in advance.
