so which title does the car end up with? bmw or the older vehicle?

Is this legal? I mean what does the title says? BMW or Ford or a mix of both.

It's registered as a 49 Ford. I guess we could have registered it as a 2008 BMW. We don't have emission requirements where we are in AZ. But since the outside still resembles a 49 Ford we felt it was cooler to register it as such.
