What I appreciate about your content, and you as a player is that you dont have an ego. You're easily one of the best VGC Players out there. But you're humble too, Not everyone takes a loss, and then reflects on what they can do better and give props to the opponent. That deserves massive amounts of respect. You are so skilled, yet not afraid to learn. 10/10 content.
Low power formats are so much fun. I love seeing the sheer diversity of pokémon being viable, makes me wish we had more metas with a ton of pokémon and no restricted/gimmick pokémon (like the UB and Paradox)

Just wanted to say you do a really great job with commentary! I often only listen to your videos while at work but I can still understand and "see" what's actually going on because you're descriptive in your explanations!
Very cool that your last battle was against James Baek (99% sure, anyways) since that's his trainer card and outfit. Edit: Hopefully he showcases that team on his channel and is recording when he faces you so I can see if I am actually correct!

Really enjoyed your commentary at Baltimore! It was like a live episode of Road to Ranked, you do a great job of breaking down what might be going through players' heads and what the relevant decisions are. I always learn a lot.
This team is awesome! BESIDES no protect. I’m also using a focus sash Arcanine for this next online tourney. It was so good during testing so hopefully it can pull out some good dubs
I don't know why but I don't look forward to anyone else showing off ranked teams. I think it's because you go over the iv spreads and why they are the way they are. And overall just the good delivery of information
What a team! Just shows how good Aaron is! I would never use a team with no protect! Also, you have done showcases on Empoleon and Toterra! But u haven't used Infernape yet! 😭 Please showcase an Infernape team in the future!
I like this team. All offense. No defense, no protects. Aside from whimsicott which is a support, the other five pokemon are just pure attackers. Just be the first one to knock out your opponent, then you win. Simple strategy, looks fun to play with too.
Ik the game is all about picking your moments and careful strikes, and this team still does that a bit, but seeing the massive “unga bunga click delete button” energy with a few lesser seen mons is glorious.
Really nice team, love to see the hiusian mons getting some attention. One question: can we not just take night slash instead of ceaseless edge on h-Samurott since it also gets the sharpness boost and can’t miss if we don’t prioritize the spikes with that team? :)
13:08 your Whimsicott set up tailwind first earlier, so at best, the opponent Whimsicott speed ties your Whimsicott, which means your Arcanine is guaranteed to outspeed.
Hey guys, Aaron Cybertron Zheng here, and he’s back with another episode of Road to Ranked, where he climbs the online Regulation H VGC ladder in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and provide live commentary as he goes. ❤
01:04:14 Weird looking Braviary 01:20:15 Also, that endgame looked really scary. If Incin Ghost Teras and Garchomp doesn't Protect to intentionally take a Dragon Darts for Incin, then Knock-Off could knockout Dragapult leaving only a Ghost-Tera Incin Vs a Decidueye that's locked into CC
The Decidueye is Scrappy so we’d still hit Ghost Incin and would get one hit of Dragon Darts + two CCs into it so we should be good in that game regardless
I felt like running Rock Head Hisuian Arcanine without Head Smash is such a waste, this combination is so good, gets so many people off guard, does so much damage, and since you're running sash anyways, no need to run a defensive tera like Grass If I would use this team I would've definitely change the Arcanine set, to Rock Tera, Head Smash over Extreme Speed I think would've been more useful since you don't have band, or normal Tera anyways, and switch Close Combat to Protect to avoid Fake Out and some shenanigans, would've been definitely more useful, I don't think that's are many mons out there that make you prefer to use CC over the STABs (Btw I see in the battles that Extreme Speed, and CC actually was clutch in some games, but I still prefer to change it and have more consistency anyways)
Honestly, you don't lose a lot by running Rock Head > Intimidate, a lot of teams run solo special attackers or have Intimidate counterplay with Kingambit/Annihilape, Scrappy, Clear Amulet or even Weezing(-G). Especially on a sash set you want to play Rock Head. Imo, Extreme Speed is a must on such an offensive team, since you very much rely on ko'ing Pokémon and prio spam helps a lot with that, you could put Head Smash > Close Combat if you'd like, having super effective burst damage into Arch in Rain is rather important tho. Tera Grass is not only a defensive tera for matchups like rain but also an offense support type to dodge Spore/Rage Powder, while also having defensive benefits (e.g. Rain boosted Aqua Jet after sash is chipped, BlUrsaluna Earth Power + Indeedee/Farigiraf)
@@Goldeneye3336 Yeah it's a opinion, your opinion isn't a fact, you are not the owner of reason, you did not even try to justify your pointless comment, it's objectively bad, and you call this "insightful advice"?! lol Please go spread hate somewhere else, I won't entertain you anymore.

The past 2 weeks or so I have been trying my own team ideas or one from other players (or based on them). From bulbapedia: “If either the original target or its ally would take no damage from Dragon Darts, both strikes are directed at the other Pokémon instead.” Since Whimsicott is fairy type, it’s immune so both attacks hit Dragonite instead
