That's cause it opens up so much viability for other Pokemon. There is so many fun Pokemon that are being used and it's beautiful. I LOVE that they lowered the power level by removing legendary and paradox Pokemon. When those Pokemon are around it makes so many others useless because it's suicide to play outside the box against something like a Miraidon, a Kyogre or even worse Ice Rider and Shadow Rider. You just get swept trying to be creative lol.

I was pretty nervous, and couldn’t really think of another plan lol. I’m honored to have made it in a video though, hope to have another try one day.
Right now with no legendarias there so many good pokemon the problem is people are try hards that don't want lose matches so they just use what's popular/they know it works instead of creating their owns teams. Or they just straight up use rental teams

Really, just adding Urshifu in the meta would invalidate half the pokemon in the current regulation. I'm glad the restricted format gave so many Pokemon a place in the sun.

Btw, the item on indeedee was the Rocky Helmet, to break the sash and multisale to those pesky physical attackers. I knew i had to keep the tera for ursaluna to counter torkoal and ursaluna Is tera dragon because It allows It to have a better match ups against fire mons (since i set su myself), against rain and against rillaboom.
Hey ! I've played Charizard + TR a lot in early reg H myself, totally agree with Rocky helmet on Indeedee and tera-dragon on Ursaluna (even if not perfect especially with Ninetails-A gaining popularity). I disagree on the Overheat on Torkoal though ; I feel like I already miss enough fire moves with Charizard, ahah. However, I was surprised by the turn 3. I feel like, you really don't want TR to be reversed given what you have in the back ; and Torkoal finishing +1 Indeedee was a roll. Personally I would have tera-fire Torkoal or just double focus Indeedee. But I guess there was no 100% safe path here, so depending on your Torkoal exact set, makes more or less sense. Anyway, good luck with your team for the future !
@@y.kennard3381 i couldn't tera torkoal: if ursaluna wasn't tera dragon i would have lost 100% of the times against the possibility of winning if indeedee dies in one hit. Also, i checked and if that was a roll, It was a very, veeeeeery likely roll. I need overheat because 1) i don't understand who gives It the c.specs as the item when paired with charizard: if you don't have helping hand and protect, you can never lead Charizard-Torkoal safely and that's a key lead to disrupt leads such as annihilape-maushold or ursaluna-farigiraf 2)weatherball Is too unreliable: It becomes normale type after 5 turns and, again, if you need to lead torkoal-charizard, those turns expire quickly. Furthermore overheat always deals more damage than water, rock or ice type weatherball, even if there's not the sun thanks to the combination of charcoal and stab. 3) Having only heatwave and eruption doesn't let me bypass opposing Wide guard The only move i could consider Is earthpower for coverage, but since opposing fire types take more damage from full-hp eruptions and sun boosted, charcoal boosted, stab boosted (and maybe tera boosted) overheats, there's really no reason to change it imo

Really love the content! Which of the teams you previewed on your channel would you recommend for vgc beginners? Teams like zoroak amarouge just seem a little too complicated for a beginner
What is the point of Tera stellar with choice specs? You only get the boost on one of your moves once and with specs you can’t change. Is it just supposed to be a 1 time nuke?
It’s to retain your typing. Sneasler (most common mon at the time) can one hit KO you with close combat if you do tera normal. The other moves getting boosts are a nice bonus.
cybertrons road into masterbal tier: tera poison primarene into spread psychic my road through pokeball: tera dark charizard with tera blast against same lead

This team was created to do explosive damage, destroy your opponent’s resources and then take advantage of them being on the back foot by casting Trick Room. Alolan Exeggutor is a perfectly viable Pokémon in this format but it’s play style would change the structure of this team. If you do want to use it I recommend going for a hyper offense team and have A-Eggs hold sitrus berry with the harvest ability making it really difficult to KO. Wolfey made an exeggutor team (and a video) with a similar concept that would probably be worth checking out and if you do want to try out trading the exeggutors on this team I’m sure you could still get wins on the ranked ladder. But I don’t know if the team would have the power to make a deep tournament run.
@@Da_Hubz I just randomly did it. It doesn’t need to be 4 there are benefits to 0-31 IVs. As long as you know what they are (and why), you can take advantage of it within a battle.
It really ranges based on the team and strategies. Sometimes I can pick up a team immediately and start recording, other times I will play for a few hours to learn the team if it features really unconventional strategies and Pokémon

I love this team. I wonder whether Farigiraf could replace Indeedee in a variant of this team, which could help with the Rillaboom priority weakness.
As a hard trick room user, I always bring a Tera Flying Kingambit to counter Imprison pokemons like Indeedee-M, Gallade, Delphox, etc.

Can't really sub since no expanding force synergy with indeede. You have to go for whole different team building for the dragon forme

A-exeggutor doesn't have chlorophyll so you won't have the double speed in torkoal sun too.
