Trainers running heavy slam in Duraludon and Archaludon is always a funny thing because of course you'd expect something so big and bulky would weigh a lot. Nope, 60kg/132lbs you can give it a piggy back ride

Braviary definitely slept on! With Close Combat and Brave Bird, t's good into a HUGE number of common Pokémon like incineroar, rillaboom, annihilape, amoonguss, ursaluna, kingambit, tyranitar etc. It even gets shadow claw to deal with gholdengo or iron head for less common mons like glimmora and alolan ninetales. If you give it an expert belt, it can OHKO incin after a defiant boost w close combat, OR you can do fighting-tera for a CC boost and also gain a rock resistance. SO excited to see it featured in this video! :)

  • @traceantonacci2495
    @traceantonacci2495 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

I would say that Milotic isn't used as much as it should be. Milotic has the potential to be the absolute answer to Incineroar. My Milotic that I've been running has Competitive, is holding an Adrenaline Orb (for those who don't know, the Adrenaline Orb's effect has been changed so that if you get intimidated your speed raises by 1 stage), and is Tera Ghost. There have been several battles I've been in where I get the Competitive and Orb boost immediately and because Milotic then outspeeds Incineroar the only thing it can do is Fakeout, so all you do is Tera Ghost and if you use a water move on Incineroar, you can take it out on the first turn.
There is a move I think that a lot of people have ignored as well. I understand why people don't use it, but recently I've been getting a lot of use out of the move Fling. I can't speak for everyone, but the reason I've always ignored Fling is because it always seemed too unpredictable to be useful as its effect and power change depending on the item the pokemon that used it is holding. However, I was looking through the possible effects that different items can have with Fling and I noticed that the stat raising berries (Salac berry, Petaya berry, etc.) give it 20 base power and raise the respective stat it's associated with by one stage. To show you why I think this is amazing I'll show you parts of the team I've been using.
    Weavile holding a Salac Berry
    Ability: Pickpocket
    Some of its moves
    Fling, Facade,
    Archaludon
    Ability: Stamina
    Metagross holding a Weakness Policy
    Flapple holding a Sitrus Berry
    Ability: Ripen
I think some of the strategy becomes immediately clear when you see the held item and ability they have but I think some of them still require explanation. The reason I gave Weavile Facade is because once you Fling the Salac berry onto another pokemon you can't use Fling anymore, but, with Pickpocket, I can steal an opposing pokemon's held item with Facade and then keep using Fling.
Fling activates Archaludon's Stamina giving it a both a speed and defense boost in one turn.
Fling is Dark type so it can acivate Metagross's Weakness policy and give it the speed and offensive boosts. (Also the only reason I picked Metagross over another Psychic or Ghost type pokemon is because the one I'm using is shiny and I wanted to show it off.)
I know the Flapple seems weird but it's been one of the most reliable pokemon on my team. (I'm not going to explain why because I'm currently battling with this team.)
These aren't the only uses for Fling on my team either. The other 2 pokemon I have can also benefit from the speed boost the Salac Berry gives and Fling can also do some decent damage if you steal something like an Assault Vest. There are also probably dozens of other things you could do with Fling that I'm not even aware of.
Edit: I also feel like I should add that the reason I leave such long comments on competitive pokemon videos explaining my teams is because I'm really bad at pokemon, but I do genuinely think these teams have potential so I want to see other people who are better than I am try to use them and see if they have any success with them. So if you want to use these strategies or if these strategies gave you ideas for your own teams, then by all means, go ahead and use them and if you can let me know how it went.

Magmar is a really nice pick right now. I`ve been using it in a H-Typhlosion team I`ve built a couple days back and it is so nice! It can set up the sun and use Follow me to aid the H-Typhlosion and with Will-o-Wisp it can bother the physical attackers that have been dominating the regulation, Dozo, Rilla, Palafin. The last move is much more flexible, you can run protect to keep the Magmar safe or Flamethrower to have some damaging utility but for me Clear smog is very good. It also walls Amoonguss with its ability "Vital spirit" which makes immune to Falling asleep.

  • @lukemaggio8664

White Herb unburden Sneasler is slept on. You are always the fasted fake out on the field. You body both incin and rillaboom. White herb gets consuemd to eat the intimidate and then you have unburden. Since you are so fast due to unburden you an afford to put some bulk into the mon as well so you don't get 1 shot. Great into archaludon since he is steel type and usually grass tera. The amount of times dire claw can you bail you out of bad game states is really useful as welll. Sneasler does good into: Archaludon, kingambit, inc, rillaboom, primarina, ursaluna, whimsicot, tryantar just to name a few. Biggest weakness is you get bodied by gholdengo so make sure your other mons can deal with gholdengo, also you can learn taunt which is super helpful.
Edit: also close combat def and spdf drops get consumed by white herb. Meaning if you still haven't consumed it. You can have cc NOT reduce your stats and in fact also double your speed stat

I think assault vest Arboliva can be a massive threat. A lot of hp and defense investment makes it incredibly bulky. Throw it on a Sun team with solar beam and weather ball. Constantly resets grassy terrain with seed sower, which can boost giga drain for added recovery. Its base SpAtt is good enough to hit hard without too much investment. 0 speed IV and EVs makes it under speed min speed ursaluna in TR, immune to amoongus spore. It can be really hard to take out

I think people are sleeping on delphox. It doesn't hit quite as hard as gardevior, but it's also much much faster. The 104 base speed puts it in a really great speed tier this format. It won the nj regionals recently but I don't really see anyone talking about it still. A set of heat wave/expanding force/protect/tera blast with life orb still does respectable damage and with tera fighting you crush the dark types that will often give you trouble, even Ttar isn't safe if you can catch it before it teras.
252 SpA Life Orb Tera-Fighting Delphox Tera Blast vs. 4 HP / 4 SpD Assault Vest Tyranitar in Sand: 146-177 (82.9 - 100.5%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO

Hello, I am a fan of Mightyena. Is there any chance that rule h will play?

The current regulation is so fun! I feel like teams have never been so diverse, and I feel like people will be playing with this ruleset even after the regulation changes again

QOTD: Hatterene, one of my all time favorite Pokemon, deals massive damage in trick room especially with the lower power level of this format. She was pretty underrated last season and think she'll be a huge threat this format if you're not careful

QOTD: Kommo-O, it won Sacramento and with weaker mons and stuff it has real potential and i feel like the Iron Press set is underused rn, with Bulletproof Tera Steel i wall Ghold and Peli, Soundproof i wall Primarina and Parting Shot, Overcoat Tera Steel i wall Amoonguss and naturally never take damage from Sand

Ngl blaziken/infernape seem super strong on ladder into everything but aramarouge and rain, but offensive duo bloodmoon ursaluna can cover rain and TR, and as long as you have incineroar to beat armarouge consistently, it’s a great core

I am fan of a more offensive hsui Goodra with sap sipper and water terra. So many people forget it gets sap sipper and then its only real weakness is electric. I don't like the body press or heavy slqm versions though.

Hisuian Zoroark in my opinion is slept on. He is one of the only Pokemon that can provide value without bringing him. if paired with another hyper voice/ shadow ball user, you have ur opponent questioning everything, without even bringing him.

Qotd: hydrapple I think is good. I’m also curious about rotom-frost when paired with ninetails but I haven’t experimented w/ it

Question of the day: I’ve been playing with primarina + meowscarada and setting up swamp. My results are mixed but it’s certainly fun.

QOTD: I'm gonna receive some words for this, but I'm all for Blaziken. Speed Boost is so awesome and it would have been good in reg F if people used it. As such, do you think a Blaziken showcase is in the future? He's my favorite mon and deserves some love

I do wish Sneasler had another ability, besides Unburden, that was good. You can go without Unburden speed because you're already faster than like 95% of the Meta.
