I have a Tagima tele, love it! I was going to switch out the bridge saddles though and it turns out that the bridge hardware is sized slightly different than Fender, so I was unable to switch out the saddles. That's just something to keep in mind for those thinking about getting one.
I have this model (in blue-green). It plays really well, smooth and fast playing, very comfortable. I did upgrade to Wilkinson Vintage 60s pickups, and the nut is now a Graphtech (it came with plastic) but I think this is a good body to do upgrades on. It feels great to play. Also btw I got mine brand new at a local guitar store for $200 USD. They must've gone down since you made the video.
I suppose that I am fortunate to have found a Mexican Strat marked "40th anniversary " for what that is worth. I'll was hotrodded with Lace pickups and needed a major setup to play in tune with great action. I don't really play it much and may give it to my grandson if he keeps playing for a few years. I just found a deal that I didn't pass up. I am an acoustic guy.
Looks like my Spectrum Strat . I know I mention it all the time but it is the most amazing budget guitar I've ever owned ... even better than the 90s Silvertone Strats 😎 Do like that Ebony board better than my Maple though .
@@FlowforthInstruments yeah . I've had mine almost 10 years . First one I got when I started playing again . It's actually still like the day it came out of box except strings . Been a great guitar 😎
I have the same guitar, i now have to buy another guitar because all the metal components rusted from the humidity of my room, honestly im really upsed but from what i've hurd the guitar should not have rusted just from that. i thinking iit rusted because of the black paint these model has. Also the screws the guitar have... they also rusted completely, i think they are really bad quality.

Hey Dave, any idea of the fretboard radius?
Good tip Dave - also the body is shaped significantly differently so the pickguards probably don't match either.

Sounds like a great find. I hope your grandson falls in love with it.
Great video could you please tell me what size strings comes on that guitar....
I think they are D'Addario 10s or 11s
Are you finding that the screws on the saddle are somewhat high with sharp edges that cuts into the heel of your hand? Mine does.
I sometimes find that with varoius budget models.
Hi Daniel, will be interested in seeing a tele review if you get one.
If you mean Tele model - I have one on the way so stay tuned.
@@FlowforthInstruments that is what I meant. Cool
I never had one but will look into them... I found that Hohner Strats from 'the old days' were very well made and good pickups and CHEAP...
Hohner made some great guitars but recently got out of the guitar business. It's a shame!

I featured a couple of Spectrums a while back on the channel but they seem to have dried up except for the odd used one.
