Try this clip that allows you you run your high beams simultaneously with your fogs. OEM is crazy bright so I can only imagine what the LEDs will look like with both going. Great video!
Man, I’m going to be honest. I thought about that Fleece all on chip that allows them all to be on. But low beams with fogs is so insanely bright, I’ll never need more. You’ll see what I mean. They will blow your mind. Over 2 years now, and zero issues. Still my favorite upgrade so far.

Hey Scott, another great video...very detailed and informative! I followed your instructions to replace my fogs. While I didn't go with the LumX fogs, your step-by-step was spot on. I went with Lasfit Switchback fogs. Simply turning them on and off switches between 6000K white and 3000K yellow. I wish I could post pics here so you could see but if you search TH-cam, you'll see. They're quite impressive.
In a week or so, I'll be installing a Fleece fuel filter kit. Stay tuned.

I ordered mine after watching your videos. They are amazing! But I leveled my truck and haven’t adjusted them yet. Pretty sure I’ve been flashed by every car that passes me, but then I tickle the high beams and they don’t do it again. Thanks for the recommendation! I bought the low/high and fogs. Also the license plate lights and reverse.

I contacted Diesel Led about these lights and the correct orientation of the bulbs. The correct orientation for lows and highs is LED facing towards the fenders. So when installed the 3 and 9 o'clock positions are where the LED should be facing, not up and down. The "backbone" of the led light should be up and down with yellow LED on the side. On a side note, I installed my lights just as described here and then redid them to the 3/9 o'clock positions. In the process I stripped the little screw on the collar and now have 1 low beam in the wrong orientation..... so anyone in the same situation be careful you don't strip the collar screw! All in all a fantastic video and much appreciation for all the time it took you to make it!

I love their lights, I also have the license plate lights, reverse lights and the 3rd brake light.... They are amazing, they also have a new model fog light ( plug n play waterproof instead of the pinned wires that plug in ) which is sooooo much better than the older ones

A little late here just thinking of doing this. Are the waterproof fog’s completely sealed? The first thing I thought when I saw the little fans on the video was that those would last until the first snow here in Minnesota. The snow, salt and slush would stop those quickly.

Ok got them installed and all I got to say is. There so bright they should be illegal 😂. I’ve had 600$ led sets before but none this bright. Got flashed 10+ times in my 20mile drive home from work😂☠️ and of course the other drivers got strait blinded by the high beams.

@@linksgarage1985 no worries brother. what sold me was the cutoff line. I was really afraid that the projectors would spill light all over the place with the conversion but it came out perfect. That and that alone are what sold me. The high beams and fog are a bonus along side the BD XL80 Ambers I'll be adding.

I’ve watched all of your L5P videos Scott. They have been very informative and I appreciate them. Thank you. I have done the cat fuel filter swap(which I unbolted from bracket first and it made the connections easier to remove), did a bank ram air, your intercooler videos helped show me how to do mine but I went with Banks since they’re larger tubes….etc etc…so two things..as for these lights I want them and will probably get them…do they last long is my question? And second question..what are your thoughts on an S&B map sensor spacer? I bought and installed one after cleaning my sensor..started truck after install and it threw check engine light..I have a scan tool so I cleared code and haven’t had a problem since. Just wondered what your thoughts are on that…a lot say don’t clean map sensor a lot say do??
Not sure on the MAP sensor spacer. I appreciate you watching. Congrats on the boost tubes and intake. As far as the longevity of the lights I’d say they will last. I’ve been running mine for a while with no issues. The reverse lights have been in over a year with zero issues. I still love them. They are super bright. Best of luck!

I heard that the oem plastic fog light housing ends up melting over time when upgrading the bulb only with the higher output bulbs. Keep us posted on that. Great video tho

I wish I had gotten the same ones as you …ordered them for my same truck after watching your video…mine look different and the kit was $260 high/low/fogs
The light isn’t secure in their housing…locks into the truck as it should, but the bulbs wiggle in their adjustable housing …

Awesome video, man. I got my duramax 1.5 years ago and went straight to HeartlandLED’s for Lows, Highs, Fogs, 3rd&Cargo, Reverse and tag lights lol. With that being said almost 1 year in I’ve lost a reverse, fog, and now a Low and warranty was a headache for the reverse and fog so I’m looking for a better replacement. How long have you had them now and are they still holding up? Sorry for the novel but I’d love some feedback!😂

That is weird! I’ve never had a single issue. I would unplug the batteries and hook them back up if you don’t have an OBD 2 scanner. Thank you for watching, and enjoy your new lights! Had mine for 2 years and they are still my favorite thing!
@@linksgarage1985 It figured it self out I guess! This was probably due to me unplugging the mass airflow sensor while removing the intake to change the lights. & turning on the truck to test them.
Had to drive around a bit & cycle the truck a few times. Whew, I thought I done screwed up. lol
Next time I'll unplug the batteries before I disconnect anything.

When I put them in my cart (full set fog high and low beams) there are 2 options and the only difference that I can see is 2x infront of the bulb with a $80 difference, do you know the difference between the 2 packages?

The locking tab on the top won’t engage? Just ensure it’s fully seated into position or else the tab won’t close. Good luck!
Have you considered the all lights on card? It’s a simple install but allows all lights to burn on bright!
To be honest, no I haven’t, and no I wouldn’t. This shit is so bright I wouldn’t want highs and fogs on at the same time. It’s irrelevant to me.

No. Mine were not LED.

Yes I do. The low beams (the upper) is a projector style, the high and fogs are normal style.

Absolutely not. Never heard of that one before.

Kinda tough to tell from the video...would these compare to HIDs? I just traded my 2017 1500 LTZ in for a 2018 3500 LTZ, the OEM bulbs in the 3500 are trash in comparison to my standard HIDs I had with my ‘17.
First of all, thanks for watching! 2nd, I had HIDs in my GMC truck before this, and these LEDs absolutely blow them away! Congrats on the news rig!

I’m very interested in these, and frankly anything is better then what I had, but I’m looking to do a complete “white” look as in matching low/high, and fog, matching LED cab lights and the Boost Auto tow mirrors I have from my last truck. Any insight would be very appreciated
@@surfinglad118 white white white. No blue tint like the HIDs. And no warm up time like the HIDs. I remember mine would take a second to hit full brightness. These are instant on. And I get bright lighted on low beams. When I strike them back with a high beam blast I know they are seriously regretting doing that. Ha. Best of luck!

So I just ordered my lights like I said I would last evening lol. Quick question my low beams are factory HID's. I ordered the exact kit that you did. Will the LEDS replace the HID in the low beam on our trucks. I couldn't tell if your factory low beams were HIDs or not. Thanks in advance.

Just installed these sames ones and now my stabilitrack light is on, no codes and no error messages just the light. Any ideas or suggestions? I looked though all the l5p pages im in but no answers found for this exact problem. I tried starting a few times, tomorrow I'll kill both batteries and see if a reset helps.
Did you disconnect batteries? If you disconnect MAF sometimes it’ll throw a code. I’d disconnect batteries and reconnect. Should be good to go. Let me know how it goes please.

Amazing. Only issue I’ve had is a low coolant lever sensor issue. Other than that, it’s been flawless. Had it for 4.5 years already.
I just put these in for my low beams, and fog lights. Im having issues getting the high beams in though and was wondering if anybody else has had the same issue. I can kind of get them in and turned into place, but it is now where near as snug as it should be, actually quite loose. Both the lows and fogs clearly went into place as if they were custom fit, but not so much for my high beams (item #9005). I have emailed them and waiting for response. 2017 3500 duramax srw

Not sure. That’s odd. The highs are a little harder because they are lower in the housings. Good luck! You’ll be happy with them. I still love mine!

@@vincentlacorazza760 yes it was very simple issue just had to loosen the bracket a smidgen then went right in and tightened back up,love the lights they are amazing hope you also enjoy them they are still just as bright as they were when I installed them

No. They still shine in a great pattern. So I left them alone.

Yea. Same. I’m on 37s with a 6.5 also. I shut them off sometimes if I’m at a light. So I don’t kill people lol. Glad you like them!
