    Welcome back to our Channel!
In this video we get to return to our favourite city, Girona. This medieval city is located in the north eastern part of Spain between the Pyrenees and the Costa Brava and is a great place for cycling. We get to stay overnight in our motorhome in the city, just a 15 minute walk from the old town. We wander around in the evening soaking up the atmosphere and early the next day walk around the quiet streets and along the old fort wall which has views across the city and over to the Pyrenees mountains.
We then head about an hour away to a campsite and head off for a cycle to the coast stopping at El Port de La Selva and Cadaques both very busy coastal towns.
Thanks for watching - see you soon xx

😂 Definitely had too much to drink! I’m not sure we’ve ever been out and about that early in Girona before so it was really lovely to pretty much have the streets and the old city wall to ourselves. Do you have a favourite city?

So funny to see you a little tipsy Amanda 🤣 I was Googling Girona this evening…so will take note of this one. Another stunner of a location 😍 and what a view from up the top of the wall…so beautiful, definitely the right time of day to walk round 👍👌

😂 I had to take quite a bit of footage out as Mark was slurring words and the camera was going all over the place! The footage on the GoPro wasn’t very good in the dark - have you noticed that? Its a lovely city, we’re just sad that the place we used to hire bikes from had to close down during Covid. We will try and get back there again - usually have cheap flights from Bristol but Indie has taken over our life at the moment and there are so many places we can’t wait to go to for new adventures 🚐☀️🚴🏼‍♀️🚴🏻‍♂️

Girona what a lovely city, my wife and I both grew up in London so we love a city especially in the mornings when they wake up, do you keep a log of the miles you do, nice vlogs keep them coming 👍

It’s so lovely. We hadn’t been able to get there due to COVID and cancelled trips for 3 years so even though it was for just one night it was lovely to be back. We don’t get to London very often - its a different world to down here in Cornwall! We both have Garmin GPS watches and Mark has a Garmin GPS Bike computer. These record our runs, walks, cycles etc so we know distance, time plus a lot more. The information is then uploaded on to Garmin and Strava which keeps a log of the mileage we do. I think after that cycle I had done around 165 miles but Mark had done more as he had cycled the Col des Tentes and Col de Luz Ardiden. Thank you for watching, hope you’re both still having a lovely time in France 😊

Hi, well we have been to Girona quite a few times so we know a lot of the cycle routes around there. The one we did to Castellfollit de la Roca we made up but had cycled part of it before as we’d been to the little town where we had stopped for lunch. When we moved to the campsite nearer to the coast I wanted us to cycle to the Monastery and Cadaques so we just found a route. When we were in France it was cycling up the Tour de Frane Cols but sometimes we do have to make them up. Are you guys cyclists? Girona is a Mecca for cycling! Thanks for watching - Amanda & Mark 😍

Hi. Just subscribed. Watching the Gorona episode. Can you explain that "booking in advance" thing for us please?

Hi Martin, thank you for subscribing we really appreciate it. For the Girona aire, we booked the “Camper
Parking Vayreda - Autocaravanas” using an App called Telpark (you can also do it on the website) all quite straightforward to do although we did have a few issues when we got there as should have had auto-recognition of our number plate but that didn’t seem to work so we took a ticket but then had an issue leaving but all resolved with a quick call for assistance. Are you heading to Girona? Its a beautiful city 😍

@@martinheath836 Wow how fabulous to go for that length of time! We’ve only had Indie for two years and the Pyrenees was our first time away with her in Europe but in 6 weeks we are heading off to Spain and a brief stop in Portugal on a 3 week trip (our longest to date!) They will get longer sometime in the future 😂 Gavarnie was amazing and thank you thats very kind of you to say, I absolutely loved putting that video together 😍 If you can venture in to the Spanish Pyrenees you will find some amazing hikes like that one as well - Ordesa Valley was beautiful! It seems that we are neighbours, Mark is a cornish boy born and bred and we live in Bodmin. Hope you enjoy all our other videos and thanks for watching 😊
