Both! I live about half way between Barcelona and Girona. There is great cycling throughout. My village is Arenys de Munt. There are 15% climbs, or flat - flat roads along the coast. Girona is cool, but Barcelona is great too.
@@GregorBrown After living in Milano for years, which we loved, my wife fell in love with Barcelona. We are both from the US. We love travel and adventure. She was fortunate to get a job here, and I have been working remote for years. I've been into cycling since I was 15 years old and I am now 56!! Originally, I am from Chicago.
Gregor Brown has gotta be living like a rock star. European cities. Great food and beverage. Hanging with the best cyclists in the world. What more could anyone want? Killing it people.
Both cities are great, on my next trip to Spain I need to jump on a bicycle and see the surroundings. Thanks for being part of your trip, although I didn’t travel for 1 1/2yr watching this video brought for 8min the sun in house😊
@@GregorBrown when I was a child I’ve been at Palamos and a few years ago together with my family we went to camping nautic almata. The whole costa brava is beautiful, some nice places to visit are Figures and Cadaques, very pittoreske.
Hello from Liverpool Gregor, great travelogue as I've been playing with the idea of visiting Girona. Also, your editing and presentation is next level, you've defo upped your TH-cam game.
@@GregorBrown Not sure? I'm open minded but plan to hire and ride a road bike whilst I am there. When would you recommend from both a weather and volume of visitor perspective. Thanks for your help, plus I'm assuming it's similar to Italy?
Thanks! what are your plans in Girona? And, in case you aren't already, please take a moment to subscribe so that we can help this channel grow. Also give the video a BIG thumbs up if you liked it. That helps!
The editing and the whole execution of this video is incredible. I love it! You put a lot of planning and effort into it and it's so inspiring! I would love to visit Girona, I have work in Barcelona but funnily never visited Girona. It's on the bucket list for this year. :)
nice video. i was lucky enough to live in girona, the more time you spend there the harder it is to leave. actually, having been in cycling heaven, i find it hard to fully enjoy the bike anywhere else now :-(
@@GregorBrown your sunglasses were a highlight. Actually fast pace is good, beautiful photography of urban areas, your knowledge eg comparison with Florence and reference to Armstrong’s old house. Really good film. I’ve only ever visited on google street view but it’s a dream to live there.

This one I am not and it is marked down in the description that I am using a g7x but for the one recently about the bicycle tail light I am using the xa50. Go out of focus and everything is much quicker and sharper with the xa50
Girona or Barcelona? What's your choice, or are you planning a trip?
