Thank you Cari!! I totally think you’ll like Octopia, and eastward is apparently an AMAZING game. I’m just a chicken and don’t play much other than cozy games haha 😂
Thanks for this video! I played and finished Botany Manor recently, it was such a wonderful experience! Same with Little Kitty, that was a lot of fun, if a little short as you said :D Otherwise, still playing BOTW and Little Known Galaxy at a slower pace. Also finished a game called Melatonin last night, a rhythm game with beautiful artwork, I totally suck at rhythm games, but still somehow managed to beat the different levels thanks to some "helper parameters" (no, I didn't use them all, just some :D). It was a fun experience that I totally recommend if the art appeals to you ^^ (Though, perhaps don't play it before bed... last night I kept dreamin with some stuff that had to be done in rhythm... it was a bit tiring XD)
Oh my goodness yes both are so good! I LOVE melatonin! It’s actually in an upcoming video of mine 😍 I’m glad to hear you liked it as well. (The dreams LOLOL) I may have asked this, but have you beat BOTW already or is this a first playthrough?
@@ashscozycorner It's not a first playthrough, but I'd never beaten it haha everytime I'd restart from scratch...and never reach the end lol But this time around I intend to finally reach the end! Even if I take it slow atm haha
The only game on this list that I have is Garden Life (LOVING the game and can't wait for the QoL update that is in the testing phase right now!), but one of my other TH-camrs is doing a Let's Play of Little Kitty Big City and I'm enjoying that (and I agree...totally Untitled Goose Game vibes!!!)! In terms of other games I'm enjoying so far in 2024, I continue to enjoy playing Harvest Moon: Winds of Anthos and Fae Farm (new DLC getting ready to come out!) and most recently I have started playing Endless Ocean : Luminous, which has been enjoyable, too (not quite what I was expecting, but still good!). Hope you are having a great day!
Oooo I hadn’t heard about the QOL update! I really do hope they can fix some things ☺️ LKBC is sooo good, do you plan on getting it yourself or just watching the playthrough? Let me know what you think about endless ocean after finishing it, so many people have gave me mixed feelings about it haha
@@ashscozycornerSorry it took so long to share my thoughts on Endless Ocean: Luminous! I'm really enjoying the chill gaming atmosphere that this game has...but I haven't finished the main story yet! Turns out to finish the last part, you have to do a lot of grinding to find specific things...and it seems pretty random to me. While I recommend this game (unless someone isn't into chill lowkey stuff), I would suggest waiting to see if it has a sale sometime!
@SharonKofoed oh my gosh no don’t apologize!! Thank you for letting me know! ☺️ that’s basically what someone else told me, def wait for a sale. I appreciate this so much!!
Bandle Tale is sooooo easy when you come form playing Graveyard Keeper, it is basically the same game mechanics with different items to craft. That's why I get why you didn't like Bandle Tale, I went through the same experience playing Graveyard Keeper the first time, that game studio should learn to give the player clear instructions
@@ashscozycorner Graveyard Keeper is pretty good too but god, the learning curve 😂 you can't possibly play these games without holding the wiki on your left hand
I had such a similar experience with Bandle Tale. I had to fight so hard to figure anything out. I personally feel that the emotion bubbles are broken. If you kept getting emotion points for crafting and collecting longer, even in a smaller quanitity, you could actually progress. I literally got stuck in the game because I couldn't get enough emotion points to get the correct items on the skill tree that I didn't know I needed till the quest came up. It's beyond frustrating because I wouldn't even mind grinding a little. You can't do that when you get zero points for doing things after a very short time doing them. So disappointed!
Yeah I definitely feel like there was so many things in the game that just didn’t make sense at all. Everything you said I agree with 100% 😭 I wanted it to be good sooooo bad. A game that makes me rage is not a game I should continue though 😂😂
Botany Manor is on my list of games to get but I was waiting to hear how it played on the Switch since that's the one I want to get. Glad to know there were no issues. I also want to get the Princess Peach game too since I loved the demo. I am glad you liked the baking one, I am not the biggest fan of it because my hand and eye coordination for that isn't that great lol. As far as recent cozy games I've played, well for the past few months I've been playing the 1.6 update to my fav farming sim, Stardew Valley, and have been loving. I am in the late game now in my 4th year and just had my 2nd kid lol. I have been playing other games, but I wouldn't call them cozy. Another cozy game I played is the update to a visual novel demo called Our Life: Now and Forever. Love the franchise. Most new games I have played in general have been demos, like I did the demo to Europa and I know I am going to love that one because it's a cozy platformer. My most anticipated game of the year though is coming out in early access this year, Fields of Mistria, with that anime aesthetic lol. It's another farming sim. The price is under $15 on Steam, OMG, that's a steal if you ask me. I am also looking forward to the 1.1 Coral Island Update because I haven't turned it since December because I wanted to wait for the Mermaid romance and the 'main story quest ending'.
Yes I really loved botany manor and princess peach was short, but what was included in the game was so much fun. I’m glad to hear you’ve been enjoying Stardew Valley! The new update is so refreshing 😍 YES fields of mistrial!!!! AAAAA that one is so exciting!! I cannot wait for it 🥹 I normally don’t play games in early access but this will definitely be one I play haha
No new here other than Sticky Business. I like that one while I’m watching Friends at night. It does run really well on switch. I end up using touch screen 90% of the time.
Okay honestly I love when games implement the touch screen and you can actually use it 😂 that makes me want to try out sticky business just to use the touch screen lol
@@ashscozycorner you probably are missing out, but I haven't played enough farming game to really say. Only played started valley, slime rancher, paleo pines, and coral island. I'd call coral island better than paleopines and a bit below stardew in quality.
What cozy games have you played and loved / hated this year?
your voice is so calming i love it. thank you for doing this!! as a steam deck and nintendo switch girlie i always appreciate ur content sm ❤
Awwww thank you so much 😭 It’s so cool to hear my southern accent is calming haha
I appreciate you being here!! 🩷🩷
love this video ashley! i really need to play eastward. i'm interested in the base game too, so i really need to get to both!

My favorite are Bandle Tale and Little Kitty Big City.. I need to finish both games. I've been into Stardew since the update.
I beat little kitty big city SO fast I was obsessed! Haha I’m glad you liked LKBC and Bandle tale 🥹

I just started coffee caravan last night and I like it 😊
Oh my gosh I cannot wait to try coffee caravan!! 😍 so glad to hear you like it!
My favorite 2024 cozy games so far are Echoes of the Plum Grove, Bandle Tale, and Fabledom.
I’m so glad to hear those are your favorite!! So jealous about Bandle tale, I wanted to like it so bad 😂

Sky definitely wasn't clear on what to do, not a you problem. I didn't like it for that reason.. I need a handholding option🙈
Okay good to know it wasn’t just me 😂😂 after I watched a few videos on it, it really helped!! ☺️
i loved bandle tale im so surprised its so low for you!!
I wanted to love it so, so bad 😭😭😭 I’m so glad you loved it though. That makes me happy to hear, I want it to do well!
Im still playing coral island
I *still* haven’t checked out coral island. I feel like I’m missing out at this point haha 😂
