Has there ever been two brides (not just Royals) who married brothers and then both managed to reach their 100th birthdays? Princess Alice and Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, achieved something rather unique in human history.
A remarkable woman, dedicating her life to help others, quietly & with no attention. King Charles named his son Prince William after his cousin Princess Alice's son William who died in the plane crash. They were close & Charles said he greatly admired him. From photos & film footage of him he was very handsome. Well put together video & well spoken.
Another first rate, video, many thanks for posting. A wee point of information: Buccleuch (also seen as 'Buccleugh' in older texts) is pronounced 'BUCK -LOO', such are the irregularities of spelling/pronunciation... Please keep up the good work.

William is also the name of 4 British kings. The last was Queen Vicotria's uncle whom she succeeded at his death.
She was better than the Queen mother herself
Definitely much better! Patricia Gambino Harrington
