Yes! Lake Virginia! They were actually horses grazing in the meadow and were really neat to watch. I saw lots of deer as well!

You filmed this epic land the way I hope that I would. I'm impressed by every scene. You added to my inspiration for this trail and this area. I'm reading, re-reading Muir's works etc. This brought it to life along with Muir's eloquent descriptions and narratives in his journals and books. Thank you for sharing this with the world. That's a very nice comment - thank you! I'm a huge fan of Muir's works as well and they were a big inspiration in getting me out there. I'll be back in Yosemite in a few weeks and plan to capture some of the spring melt after a huge snow year!
